No Good Deed: Book One of the Mark Taylor Series by M.P. McDonald Book Summary

Mark Taylor knows his actions scream guilty—but he was only trying to stop the horrible terrorist attack. Instead, the government labels him an enemy combatant and throws him in the brig with no rights, no trial, and no way to prove his innocence.

Mark's just a regular guy—a photographer—who finds himself in an extraordinary situation when an antique camera he buys at a dusty Afghanistan bazaar produces photographs of future tragedies. When he discovers that he can prevent the events in the photos from occurring, he can't live with the guilt if he doesn't try to stop the tragedies.

When he sees September 11th, his efforts fail when no one listens to his frantic warnings. Then he learns that being an 'enemy combatant' means the government can do anything they want to him. Anything at all.

Well done. Worth reading. Worth buying!

Excellent!. Without a doubt, one of the best books that I have read in a long while. Kudos!

Good read!. Interesting insight to how good deeds are rewarded! Mickey

No good deed. What an exciting plot! This book had everything. Action, adventure, romance, PTSD, governmental procedures. Can’t wait to read the next book!

Awesoem. This book was unlike anything that I’ve ever read and it was extremely refreshing. Definitely worth the read.

No good deed. Enjoyed the book. Well written with a good plot.

No Good Deed. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Mark Taylor. Personally, I liked the book. It has a good story line and I was always interested in seeing what happens next. I cant wait for the next book

READ THE BOOK. Amazing. Everyone would love this. I would recommend to teens and adults. Humor, mystery, and adventure all in one book. Wish there was more.

No Good Deed. A real good read!!!!!

PSYCHIC CAMERA?. This book has an interesting storyline about a camera that has a lens which takes photos of future events… It’s kind of a modern twist on fortune telling, except that it has spiritual implications which enables the owner to change the future/history to result in a positive outcome. Intriguing storyline and RECOMMENDED.

Review NO Good Deed. I am lousy reviewer, I enjoyed read this book. And while I read I amased a great dislike for police, FBI and the ike for the things them were performing on Mark. I realize its fiction, but I think some of these “aspects of torture” are true and perform by our NSA,CIA and FBI. The story was ended with a believable turn about by agents that beat up Mark. Reads well and not with to much unnecessary bloat. Will read the next book.

No Good Deed. Outstanding book...read it in one day... Couldn't put it down. Fast paced.

Enjoyed this book.. A good thrill ride. I liked the main characters.

No good deed: book one. This is an interesting book. Chapter one starts fast and exciting but the next few chapters are slow and painful. They are well written but concerned where the author is going with the story. I put it down for a few days then decided to give it a chance to reach its first chapter promise. It doesn't reach that intense pace until the last chapter (which is a real page turner) but the skill of the author makes you concerned about the protagonist and continue for the climax of a well written book

No good deed. The mark Taylor series starts with a can't put it down read! Loved it can't wIt to read rest of series!!!

Intense read. An engaging and thought provoking read; could you change the future without attracting the authorities? And if the authorities viewed such attempts to “help” as terroristic activities; how would a potential hero be treated? With twists and turns in plot and characters- unexpected actions, I read this book for 2000 miles on a road-trip and could hardly put it down.

New author for my favorites list. This kept my focus from first word to the last. Nice tight writing. A style that reaches to the pain of hardship and loss. A style that reflects emotional conflict of tortured and torturer. Suspense builds with moments of levity to keep things real. Will be moving on to next in this series with eager anticipation.

No Good Deed. Read it in a day. Fast and exciting. Waiting for the next one.

No good deed. Great book! It was hard to put down. The only complaint was that the ending was a little abrupt. Looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

Blah. Mind numbingly boring. The first 600 pages are like watching paint dry.

Amazing. Couldn't put the book down until I was done with it. 10⭐️ I can't wait to read the other 3.😍

AWESOME👍🏻. When you begin to read the first few pages you just get hooked!!!! Once a chapter ends you can’t stop reading, this book was awesome! Can’t wait for the new ones to come out.

No good deed. I read a lot of books this one on top with the best.

Amazing read. I started reading at 11.30am and finished the book by 9.45 that same night!! I'm a good reader but this author is a GREAT writer!! Dina x

Excellent read. Sadly just finished this book, could hardly put it down, the tension builds throughout the book, with little twists and turns. Read it now!

No Good Deed.. The summary one could be forgiven thinking gives too much information and will spoil a good read. NOT SO! This is one of the best books I have read! Each turn of the page is accompanied by a compulsion to read quicker! This book has had me close to tears many times and other times actually in tears. Other times a deep understanding of human nature is displayed and again brings one to feelings of pride or fear.... Every emotion is triggered. The only sadness was the last page when I realised there was no more to discover or experience. ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. Can the next novel equal this one.. Can't wait to find out!

Couldn’t put down!. Loved this book, gripped from the start. Great storyline.

No Good Deed. I downloaded this free and it was a while before I started reading it but then couldn’t put it down! The story rattles along at a whirlwind pace. A great story with just the right amount of detail and a great ending. I’ll definitely be buying the rest of the books in the series!
