Intelligent and Entertaining. This is a different kind of romance, and I would not have forgiven the hero as quickly. I admire the emotional strength of the heroine and her quest to help other women. A reader should read all three books in order to appreciate and understand the heroine, but it is not a chore to read them all. I liked the heroine and her friends. The author is to be praised.
Black Rise Trilogy. I enjoyed this series and eagerly await the next book, if there is to be one. I enjoy the twists and turns. The conversations are quite intriguing. She develops the characters and story lines to keep me interested. Some of the "love scene descriptions" I skip over.
