Very emotional. This was a good book, I got very emotionally entangled in the story, even though I'm far from the "new adult" audience that it was aimed for. I have to say, I personally enjoyed Ms Scott's Coming Home series more, but this was good, too.

Loved but wanted a little more. I loved this book. As citizens we know that men and women put their lives on the line to protect our country but what we always forget is they might get to come back home but a lot of that baggage comes back with them. She wrote this book and portrayed the struggle perfectly. I just wish there was a little more or that she writes a second book.

5+++++ A must read. This book was amazing. A definite re-read for me. I fell in love with the characters right away. There were no stupid love games or immature people. This was a true love story with heartache and struggles, passion and desire. I truly recommend this book.

Before I Fall. Jessica Scott delivers a wonderful, complex and heart felt story of two people who are damaged in different ways, yet by the same thing. Their military experiences, Noah's experience first hand and Beth's by caring for her veteran father, play an important role in this story. Jessica Scott, as always, takes us into this world in such an engrossing way, it's nearly impossible to put this book down. I loved the characters and I felt their chemistry from the start. I can't wait for more in this series! Jessica Scott has been one of those authors that has never let me down with her stories.

I couldn't put it down. This was a great story, well written and worth the money. It's an eye opener and made me appreciate my life more than I already do. I look forward to reading more of her stories!!!

Must Read. This is a beautifully written story about real life. It's not the typical Romance Novel with a fantasy like plot. I love the characters and how she develops them on a more emotional level for the reader.

Highly recommended!. It's tragic and real and I truly felt like I was in the story watching it all unfold. Jessica Scott has a way of telling a story that pulls you in and makes you a part of it all. The relationship between Noah and Beth was lies, truth and such raw beauty, it was heartbreaking. Keep the tissues close by because there are certain parts that the tears will flow and you'll have no control over them. This is an exceptional story about a boy who went to war and came back a man struggling mentally and physically to put the pieces back together, all while falling in love with someone who might not be able to handle it. I highly recommend reading this amazing book! Received a copy in exchange for an honest review.

So good. What a great read. Didn’t want it to end

What happened to her dad?. What happened to her Dad?! I can’t believe there wasn’t a conclusion about him as he was so integral to the story. The book was well written, though I found it didn’t give me that magnetic pull where you just can’t put a book down. The characters were a bit stereotypical - the vulnerable but strong female, the strong and stoic male and I found myself rolling my eyes at times. The editing was amazing as I didn’t notice any typos (a pet peeve) and the book was well structured. I wish there was a concluding paragraph on the dad, of where he’s at and what’s in his future, it feels so incomplete without it.

Heart breaking and mending. These characters made me want a HEA. The reality of their imperfect future was perfect.
