Excellent. Pulls at the heartstrings. Makes you think of the difficulties military life brings to the family. Best I’ve read in awhile.

Raw and powerful. The emotions a soldier feels after being at war are so complex. This book offers a glimpse of what it’s like for a female soldier, not just a male. The raw and emotional turmoil and the coming to grips is powerful to read. I highly recommend this book to all, but especially to those who have or have had an up close and personal connection to an enlisted soldier.

Come home to me. Really great story. I would say “sweet” but that doesn’t really fit. I have never been in the military but I think this story probably does a good job of showing what people coming home may be feeling. This story does a great job of showing that and showing the work and love that go into making a happy ending.

Love All Things Jessica Scott!. Another wonderful story by Jessica Scott! I love how she addresses real issues that are being dealt with when soldiers come home. She tells the story so that it engages the reader and gives you hope!

A man fighting for his family! Very emotional!!!. All of the books of the "Coming Home" series are written with so much emotion. The struggle for these men and women soldiers is so very real. This is the story of Patrick and Samantha and it is very powerful. It deals with the aftermath of deployment and how these soldiers deal with war and loss. Jessica Scott writes AMAZING military romance! This novella is a must read. The phone call between Patrick and his daughter, Natalie, was very emotional and will stay with me for quite a while. I can't wait to read more from this very talented author. Received a copy in exchange for an honest review.

finding love again. **I received an ARC in exchange for my honest opinion** I love how Jessica Scott accurately portrays the emotions of the military personnel returned from deployment. In this story Patrick and Sam are struggling. Sam has survivor's guilt, some PTSD, and is feeling numb and empty. Unable to feel love, she seeks the solace of home and goes back to Maine. Patrick has had counseling for his PTSD, but he's still harboring a secret from Sam. He won't lose her or their daughter, when Natalie calls daddy and asks him to come, he's on the next plane, ready to do anything and everything to save his family. Patrick helps Sam realize she can't kick her problems alone, and she needs to face them in order to go forward with their lives. He also shows her he'll stay--other men in her life have left her, so she ran before she thought he would. But Patrick is in for the long haul. Proving love can both of them heal and find their way back to each other. He willing to leave the military and start life over in Maine, anything to save his family. Sam sees Patrick's love as true, learns his secret, and begins the long journey back to love and feeling again. Together, they decide to become a family, not just in name, but in reality, too. Marriage. Permanency. Formally naming Patrick the father of her child. Love. And, all Natalie's Christmas wishes come true. This is a well-written and wonderful story of finding everything is in front of her once she opens her heart to love, coming home, and starting over!

Come Home to Me. This was an excellent story. Those of us not serving have absolutely no idea what our soldiers have to go through to help keep us safe. Their lives and families are disrupted by those who just don't care. How does one process that feeling when they have those that love and care deeply for them I would highly recommend this author.
