Bleh. Made it 78% through and just couldn’t take it anymore. The phrase “my girl” was so overused. And, (spoiler alert) if they were so in sync and open about sex, it seemed stupid he would hold of on telling about the porn work. Also, after moving in with Tori, she seemed to dump her once she hooked up with Brian. Very choppy, uneven, and bleh. Not reading other things by this author.

A meet cute you won’t forget. A super cute concept. I love the idea of how Brian and Sydney meet. A wrong number gone really really wrong turns into finding the love of your life but Brian’s secrets keep him from taking what he has found. This book has some great steam a lot of love and a great group of characters you can’t help but fall in love with which is common with J. Daniels series. Very excited to read the rest.

Trouble and Wild consumed me!!! What an amazing read!. J. Daniels has proved once again why she's one of my ultimate favorite go-to authors. You won't ever be disappointed when you read something written by her. Regardless if you just pick up one of her books, open it to a random page and read it, you'll still enjoy yourself immensely. Or better yet, you'll end up getting sucked in and rereading that book. To me, her books are purely timeless and priceless. That's how much they mean to me. Her books—the stories, the characters, the feels just never leave you. They stay ingrained in your heart and soul. They're extraordinary and brilliantly composed stories that you'd want to go back and revisit again and again and again. And you know what, Brian and Sydney's story in Four Letter Word ain't no different at all. I just wanted to hug Brian more times than I can count and hold Sydney's hand all throughout the story. This book stunned the heck out of me. It was not how I envisioned this story to go down at all. The depth of it alone just blew my wits away and shredded all my insides. Like crazy. It hurts so much in the best and most wonderful way possible. I crumbled. I ached. My heart was so full of feels that it wanted to jump out of my chest one minute and have me trying to contain it and put it back in the next. The entire book was utterly gripping and compelling and you won't be able to put it down. Although it's certainly one of those where you'll want to close your eyes for few a minutes, soak everything up, have all the emotions swirl around you and just savor the goodness of it all. Believe me, I couldn't even count how many times I did that with this book. This is without a doubt J. Daniels at her very best. She's tapped into so many emotions a person can feel all at once and weave that into such a beautifully heart-wrenching story of unexpected love full of angst and lust that would rock you to your very core. This story reached onto the pits of my soul and the deepest, darkest corners of my heart. It's indeed one hell of an epic ride and adventure you wouldn't dare miss for the world. And you'll find yourself wanting more of Jamie and Tori after too! P.S. Brian Savage, you truly live up to your nickname—Trouble. You wreaked havoc to my poor little heart, but I have zero regrets. I'll even take more of what you got, thank you very much.

OMG!!!. J. Daniels does it again!!

Another Fave. I love J. Daniels writing style and Four-Letter Word is no exception. She does an awesome job of developing her characters and endearing them to you from the start. In true J style, the dialogue and banter between the characters is often as hot as the actual "dirty deed", and man this story is full of hotness! I have read all her books, and Trouble & Wild are right up there with the rest of my faves. Can't wait for Jamie and Tori's story.

Another GREAT book by J. Daniels!!!. J. Daniels did it again, absolutely loved this book. Trouble & Wild will give you all the feels a good book can give. The supporting characters are great too. Can't wait to read the next book in the series. A must read!

Love Life & Friends. 3.5 stars I really like stories that involve a group of friends. This is one of those. The girls are besties and the guys are too so naturally they all end up in the same circle. Sydney has a heck of a start. She’s going through some personal hell, and then finds out that her girl is too. This all leads to a mix up of Sydney telling the wrong guy off. I like the way this accidental action spurs a whole love story. Lots of random things happen with a little too exact timing in the storyline, but this conversation is the best. Brian is also going through some issues. Although, Sydney does have reasons to be upset, I think Brian’s obstacles are bigger. Some are life, and some are self-made. He seems to have more of a support system initially that she does though. Basically everything is a major life-altering event that both are going through. Four Letter Word has laughter, tears and sexy times. I liked how it also focused so much on friendship. I’ll continue the series. I’m looking forward to seeing how the other romances play out.

Amazingly Wild. Super sweet, hot and emotional story. I didn't want to end it but at the same time I needed answers and see how it all ended. First time reading from this author and now I definitely want to read all of her past work. In need of more Trouble!

Disappointing reread. I am the type of romance reader who needs to love the characters— or at least like them— to be invested in the, gettin together. I don’t always hate insta-lust if it’s done right. Sydney was quite insufferable the entire time & Brian was a bit pushier in ways that were undesirable for me personally. I get that you want to give a girl her dream but they don’t even discuss logistics ever. I’m usually able to overcome, the “this would never happen/work in real life” part of my brain but only if the characters and story are written well and they just weren’t. I don’t remember much about my first read of this (closer to the release date years ago) and have since enjoyed more recent releases from this author over the years, so adding a star for that!

Fun and steamy read. Actual Rating 3.5 stars I was really excited to read Four Letter Word and couldn't wait to get it. Sadly, for me, it ended up just being OK. It certainly wasn't terrible, and I enjoyed it enough to want to finish it, but I didn't feel all that invested in the characters. I thought the idea of how Brian and Sydney met was original (though I wouldn't do this in real life!), but even though they talked and got to know each other in this way, it still felt superficial and like instalove when they got together. I sympathized with Brian and his guilt, but how he decided to solve his money problem didn't really seem realistic. I don't feel like that would be the answer that most people would come to if in that situation, but until you walk a mile in someone's shoes... I liked both MC's and it was nice to have the dual POV so that we could be in each of their heads. I did wish Sydney would have been a bit stronger emotionally, but given the circumstances she was facing I did understand where she was coming from. I actually was most annoyed by the way Brian spoke. It all seemed disjointed and was it my imagination that every sentence he said seemed to start with a verb? I feel like some nouns were missing. The ending felt too rushed and was resolved really quickly, but perhaps since this is the first book in the series, we will get further updates/epilogues on the characters later. I was most surprised that the drama came up so late in the book. It was inevitable though with all the foreshadowing, so I was expecting it and the push away. In the end, Four Letter Word was a fun and steamy read, that was enjoyable enough that I will still continue on with the series.

AMAZING. This was seriously one of the best books I have read in awhile!!!! I absolutely loved it. Can't wait for the next one.

Another J. Daniels hit!!. I loved the start of this new series. Sydney and Brian "met" in the most unusual circumstance - a verbal beat down on a wrong number dial. Sydney is going through a divorce from her high school sweetheart, and moves in with her best friend Tori who's going through a breakup of her own. Dud and Brian spend several weeks only talking and texting, never meeting in person. Until they finally do at a party. They then become almost inseparable, spending as much time together as possible, in and out of the sheets. Although I felt they planned their future pretty fast, kids, house, etc. I absolutely loved their story. Highly recommend this book, and can't wait for Tori and Jamie's book next.

Best book EVER!!. I am speechless about this book! I have read so many romance novels and this one go for far and beyond being more amazing than the others! You really feel like your a member of there friends group or a tourist in the town she describes it so well! I was laughing , crying and wishing I had some trouble in my life😏😏! Can't wait to tell all my friends about it.

I love Trouble <3. So, I'm pretty sure I feel in love with Brian (shhhh don't tell my husband;) I just loved this book, start to finish. I loved how they started their relationship. I loved Sydney's spunk and how even though she was dealt a cr*p hand she let herself get in "Trouble" and find love again. Of course, I knew it would be because, well duh, J. Daniels, but I give this book FIVE STARS!

Wild for Wild and Trouble!. I saw this one around Instagram so many times before I got it for review! I went into it blindly, and that seems to be my pattern as of lately! With that said, this was also my first J. Daniels books and boy oh boy have I ordered more of her books on Amazon! This book in one sentence: This one was wild! (You’ll see how unoriginal my one liner is when you pick up the book ;)) The description of this book doesn’t tell us much and there is a lot that happens in this one! The first thing I noticed was the writing and I really enjoyed it! Once I started the book I had so many questions because J. Daniels made me develop this need to know! Everything was beautifully smooth and the writing, as well as the characters and storyline, made this one to remember! The main characters in this one were Sydney and Brian and the way they met was incredibly interesting. My first impression of Sydney was that she was absolutely hilarious! She used some very colorful language when she thought she was telling off the guy who broke her best friends heart, but of course it happened to be the wrong number. She managed to call someone else and tell him off and the person on the other line happened to be Brian. I thought that she was funny but his responses to her remarks are what killed me! I was 3% into the book and I was already dead! I figured I was in for a ride and boy was I right! There were other phenomenal characters throughout the book and I’m specifically talking about Tori and Jamie who actually get their own story in Hit The Spot! Having great characters made this story even better and boy was it! These characters happen to embark on this interesting story with each other and it was fun to see how things played out! It was fun to watch how this friendship became more and how the fire between them developed! And speaking of, J. Daniels can sure write with fire! The chemistry between Sydney and Brian was complete fire and was incredible in all the right places! I have other ebooks by J. Daniels sitting my library waiting for me to read them and best believe I will get to them sooner rather than later because I immensely enjoyed this one! It was fun to watch this one play out and I can’t wait to crack open the other ones! This is yet another story that I’ve read this month that I fell in love with and I’m more than glad I got to read it early! This book was definitely worth the read!

Unputdownable. Umm....can I get a side of Trouble, to go please? Maybe a dash of Wild, too? Is that too much to ask? Hahah. So with out giving too much away, I will throw a little info at you. Sydney, aka Syd aka Wild, is thrown for a loop, which has her up and leaving her little nest of uncertainty. This leads her to her BFFs, Toris, house. Which is also a whole other story, but that leads Wild to Trouble, aka Brian. AND let me tell you, you most DEFINITELY will get your socks rocked when they meet. From there on out it is magical. Pure magic!!! Trouble and Wild are two very special characters, who throughout this story give us their all. You do NOT want to miss these two, and the other slew of secondary characters, who also rocked this book! This book will blow your mind. It had me smiling from ear to ear, laughing out loud so so much, and it also had me sniffling a few times. I couldn't have asked for a better book to have read. Honestly, this is the first book that I've read by Author J. Daniels, and most definitely will not be my last. Go forth and one click this bad boy!!! I give this book 4.5 Stars <3

A Must-Read !!. Once again J.Daniels has managed to create an incredible story for the characters Brian and Sydney. Not only has she written really awesome main characters but also included an amazing set of secondary characters. Stitch, Nate, Tori, Jaime and more! While reading 'Four Letter Word' I was completely enamored. I loved how the main characters were introduced by a phone call and only later met in person. I laughed, and smiled like crazy reading this. It's definitely one of my top 10 favorite reads of 2016. I'm looking forward to more of this series.

LOVE - THAT’s MY 4 LTR WORD. One of the BEST books I’ve read in a long time. I wasn’t sure about parts of it but I found it endearing. I love J Daniels. EXCELLENT. I highly recommend this book. *He has a potty mouth. Yikes.

Boring!. I struggled to finish this book. I didn't care for some of the writing style, but I could have gotten past that if I could have enjoyed the story more. I enjoyed the first few chapters, but it was all downhill after.

Beautiful and Addictive!. I’ve read every books by J. Daniels and she’s one of my absolute favorite authors. She has a way to write enthralling and funny characters that stay with you long after your book is finished reading. Four Letter Word was a book I’d been waiting for a long, long time to release and I wasn’t disappointed in the least. It was an incomparable read that left me full of feelings! It was different from her other works, maybe a more polished style. She really upped her writing with this new one. I adored everything about this story about two strangers healing each other through phone calls, after a wrong number turned into an astonishing connection. What Sydney and Brian share through phone calls is so beautiful. There is an understanding between them and they both become hooked by these stolen moments where they can share everything that’s in their hearts and minds without fear. “My world was one miserable mistake-shaping second after another, except for the breaks in my misery that belonged to her.” The anticipation of their first meeting was a sublime RUSH. The wait was killing me. When it happened it was just WOW! Butterflies in my stomach worthy and tears in my eyes assured! Most definitely my favorite scene of the whole book. It is that POWERFUL. The level of intensity between them is over the charts! As always with J. Daniels, the intimate scenes are steaming hot! She has a gift to write characters with so much chemistry that it ignites across the pages. But their story isn’t all about the good, because they both struggle with sadness, guiltiness and secrets that could destroy everything they started to mend in their lives. “You’re just a voice and that’s all you’ll ever be to me and I can’t, I’m not okay with that. I’ll never be okay with that little of you.” Overall this book has everything. You laugh, you cry, you swoon, you visit every spectrum of emotions possible! There’s also the secondary characters surrounding the main couple that bring a lot of interesting moments and deepness to the novel. Can’t wait to read about them in upcoming books of the Dirty Deeds series. J. Daniels definitely achieved to bring to life an emotional and addictive new series!

Amazing and funny. Read this in one day, couldn’t put it down. Love the story line about how they meet and the obstacles they face to be together.
