Tempting Levi. Enjoyed the story.

4 stars. Light-hearted, tender love story. Also a bit of humor thrown in.

i love this book series!. After reading this book I had to read the rest of the series. These broken and beautiful brothers deserve all the love. A lot of tension and i think a rating of 3.5 on the spice scale

Fantastic. Fantastic story and just the beginning to a new spin off series featuring The Cade Brothers. We met Adam Cade in the last Men of Lake Tahoe book and now we get the stories of his 4 brothers. You don't have to have read the prior books to enjoy this one. This is Levi's story and you don't want to miss it. Levi Cade is a planner. That hasn't worked out so well for him though. Once he thought he had the woman he would spend his life with and the job he would make a career out of. Now he's single, lost his father, finds himself struggling to fill his shoes and not let his brothers down. Nothing else could go wrong in his life. Right? Wrong! He knows that as soon as he meets the woman his father wants working by his side to keep the club running. The sister of his cheating ex!! Emily Wright may not be anything like her sister but working with her day after day will be too hard. Especially since his dormant libido decides now is the time to come roaring back to life. An excellent book that I highly recommend to everyone.

Mehhh. Just basic

Predictable and tame. This is a cute rom com read. It’s predictable and has the “romance story line”. It’s tame in the intimacy department and the writing is okay.

Tempting levi. It would have been nice to have a more complex plot. The story was too predictable.

Tempting Levi. I started this book on an airplane ride because I forgot to bring a book of my own… I didn’t think I would be hooked but it was the type of book I liked to read. Read 2 chapters on the plane and put the book down until a few months later. In the second sitting, I finished the rest of the book in a day. It’s a short read but it is so worth it and I think an accurate love story of two stubborn people not wanting to put their pride aside even though they’re in love. Every page made me want to keep reading more! 10/10 would recommend!

Tempting Levi. I kept waiting for the book to be interesting, but it never did. It seemed like it was plowing through mud. This book lacked substance. The main characters weren’t even that interesting!

Tempting Levi. Complicated relationships, a major attraction, and crooks to be found! You’ll enjoy this sexy and conflicted family and Levi and Emily’s love story.

I can't wait for more books in this series!. I can't wait for more books in this series! This is the first book I've read by Jules, and it for sure won't be my last! This was a solid and steamy contemporary romance with a large cast of characters I can't wait to learn more about! Emily and Levi were in a tough spot; they knew they had feelings for each other, but thy let the stigma of Emily being "the ex's little sister" stop them from pursing each other. They worked in close proximity, so you can imagine the tension that was built up having to restrain themselves! I really liked Levi. He suffered loss in his personal and professional lives and then his father died and dropped a high-end resort on him. It was interesting to read how he coped with all of the above and incorporated them all into his current life. Emily also experienced some rough stuff in her life, but it helped to form her assertiveness. I liked when she unleashed said assertiveness when it came to Levi. Nope, no pushover here! I FLEW through this book, not wanting to put it down! I'm looking forward to reading more about these here Cade boys! (I received a copy of this book in consideration of an honest review)

Jules Barnard puts the sparkle in this Lake Tahoe casino romance. Her 'Men of Lake Tahoe' series was my first introduction to Jules Barnard's perfectly pitched writer's voice. She has a warm and casually intimate style - a chat-over-coffee-on-a-rainy-morning-at-home style. Her characters in Tempting Levi are as real a the people you and your friends chat about, and she writes like she's one of them. Levi Cade may be the eldest and most angst-ridden son among the five Cade brothers, but Dad died and left him boss of the family casino business, and his brothers' futures. (Levi's a bit too into martyrdom for a genuine alpha, at first...). And MS. Emily Wright, his new Adm. Asst.- well she's his ex-fiancee's sister, and a player in a two-family brouhaha with history and hard feelings still intruding on the present. Plus, she's beautiful, and has all the right job qualifications, and she's so competent...and Levi's in trouble. This man sure can manufacture guilt, and Business-savvy-but-not-Man-savvy Emily sure knows how to misread the signs. Getting these two well-suited suits together in the bedroom as well as the boardroom is a considerable feat which the author pulls off with panache, and heat, and romantic tension in spades. Those familiar with the Early MoLT series will recognize cameo appearances from those stories (the novels share a close Lake Tahoe community setting), but Tempting Levi totally works as a standalone. Thank Hidden Gems for the ARC, and this is a voluntary and independent review.

Tempting Levi. Slow to start with but couldn’t put it down after 3/4 of the way through.

Tempted. Great read. Am enjoying getting to know the Cade brothers. Looking forward to the next in the series.

Levi & Emily. Slow and just couldn’t get into this book

Thoroughly enjoyed. Another new author to me and one I will be looking into further. Levi is in untenable position, pushed into running his family's luxury resort. He never planned to return home, let alone run the family business and keep his brothers in check, but circumstances change. When the woman hired to help him turns out to be Emily Wright, his ex's sister, he finds himself faced with a dilemma. Complications arise when he finds himself insanely attracted to Emily. Can he trust her not to burn him like her sister did? Does he take a risk and get involved? Or will the fact that she is his assistant be to much of a complication?  The chemistry between Levi and Emily sizzles and they complement each other well.  Although this a spin off from another series that I haven't read I had no issues following the story.  I will certainly be looking at her other books and I look forward to reading more in the series. 

Great Read. 4.5 Stars Jules Barnard is a new author to me but not for long, I'm certainly going to be looking at other books by her. I understand this is a spin off from a previous series, the fact I had not read that series made no difference to the enjoyment I got from this book. Levi had it all or so he thought then in one fail swoop he lost his woman and his father and now he finds himself runnng the family resort and keeping his brothers in check, his father planned it all down to even hiring a Harvard grad to work along side Levi, shame that girl is the last person he wants to work with...... Emily is nothing like her sister but she needs to prove that to Levi,after all who would trust the sister of his cheating ex..... The characters in this book are easy to fall for and the chemistry and banter is perfect. A love story with some twists, turns and plenty of trust issues, this was an easy read that I would recommend to everyone. Looking forward to reading more from Jules Barnard.
