The Bankers Wife. I heard it recommended by Dana Plano on The Five on Fox. An excellent read!

Great read. This is a great follow up to The Darlings. There are so many twists and turns that I couldn't put it down. The story is so close to reality you can almost plug in the actual people. The author does a great job keeping you involved in this story of international intrigue. Bravo to Cristina Alger, eagerly awaiting the next book.

One of my favorite books in years!. This was such a fabulous book. I blew through it but didn’t want it to end. Compelling characters and a great puzzle of financial intrigue. I’m recommending this book to all of my friends!

Interesting fast read!. Great book for quarantine and a fast read.

The Banker’s Wife. I love spy novels, thrillers etc, and buy every David Baldacci and Nelson Demille which comes out, but have never written a review before. I hate this book. I forced myself to keep reading with the hope it would get better, despite being totally bored. I made it to page 171 before finally deciding to waste no more of my time. Aside from the plot being terrible and predictable, the author doesn’t let you forget that she is a woman, with all of her obvious details which are directed toward women. She also praises her heroine’s short haircut in an effort to justify her own short haircut on the book flap. Not important. More germaine is that the book is really bad.

Formula but good beach read.. A dramatic and sinister take on Swiss banking. Needs some better proofreading. Character mix ups in the narrative abound.

I’m sad it’s over!. This book was so good that I didn’t want to put it down!

Couldn’t get past spelling error. In chapter one, the author wrote that the pilot wouldn’t be “phased” by unfavorable flying conditions. She wanted “fazed.” Fail. No money will be spent on lazy writers like this!

One of may favorites this year!!. This was my second book (first was Girls Like Us, also a must read) by this author and boy did it live up to this story! I could put the book down. It had so many twist and turns. The story and plot was riveting up to the last page! I would high recommend this book to any of my friends!
