Movie quote banter. Main female character, forty year old attraction to blue collar, hunk who’s forty-five. A great summer read, and into a series of steamy, dreamy characters.

Another great book. Her books always have great story line are always different. With amazing sex scenes.

Hit me where it counts when I was least expecting it!. Wow. I'm blessed to be on a lot of ARC teams. T this time I'm not on Ms Wilder's... but I feel it must be said I'm on a lot of my fav authors teams, which makes reading books in between long awaited ARCs difficult. THIS book was AWESOME! I've had on my shelf awhile. I love Jasinda's stuff. I don't know why I held out on reading it. I seriously regret it. Going on my top 2019 reads shelf 1000% Meet Imogene, recently, messily divorced sweet woman. Introducing Jesse, contractor all around hot guy. The scene. Here broken window. I simply devoured this book! Safe read, no cheating, HEA, 1 of 4 series about 4 friends who also work together!! Highly recommend

Dad Bod. I finished this in one setting...I was that engrossed in all aspects of the book!

It wasn’t my favorite. I have read every book by Jasinda and this one just wasn’t my cup of tea. I typically love everything she writes, but this one was too long and kept rehashing the same issue over and over and over! I love a good long book when it keeps progressing and this one didn’t. The heroine was insecure and annoying and the hero was 44 and supposedly the hottest man ever but he had never been married, that just didn’t seem realistic to me. Also, the heroine has absolutely no money in the first part of the book but then she is spending like crazy to travel and order all kinds of Thai takeout food?!?!? Lastly, it just kind of ended on a “Happy for now” note. I will keep preordering all her books. She is definitely a one click author for me, just not this book.

Fun Flirty Sexy Read. Hammered (Book 1 inthe Dad Bod Construction series) hit the nail on the head for this reader. A wonderful storyline based on real life situations that is told in Ms. Wilder’s usual style of humor, personal struggles and passion. The characters are so down the earth you’ll feel like you’ve known them all your life or at least known someone that their personalities are the same. These things always make for a great read Imogen is a mid aged woman who has recently watched the ink dry on her divorce papers. Having always been the dutiful wife, trying to stick it out for years despite her inner loneliness, she is now left with all the bills, flat broke and in a fixer upper house that her ex just had to buy. Of course this fixer upper has a lot of issues one being no AC. While trying to get the window open to catch a breeze, she accidently breaks it and don’t you know it’s suppose to rain the next day. Imogen finds an add for Dad Bod construction and the hunk in the picture catches her eye so she makes the call, hopping she can at least afford to have it boarded up, since it’s late in the evening. What she doesn’t count on is the Hunk on a stick, Jesse, that shows up to fix the window, clicking all the buttons off inside her that she thought were long gone and dead. The banter and sexual innuendos fly in this funny, flirty, sexy, feel good story that proves life often gives people a second chance at happiness if they are willing to put themselves out there and try again. I highly recommend grabbing Hammered (Dad Bod Construction, Book 1) and I offer you a hardy 2 Thumbs up for what this readers feels is going to be another HIT series for Ms. Wilder. Looking forward to Book 2.

Just couldn’t get into it.. Loved Jacinda’s Black door series as it was in such great detail that it took me to another level. This book, not at all. It was so poorly written, you would have thought it was written by an amateur. Can’t go onto the next book. Sorry.

Sexy & Fun read!. Seriously I do not know how Author Jasinda Wilder writes these EPIC love scenes that always leave us readers breathless and needing a very cold shower!Be ready to get your nails out to be hammered by the one and only Jesse. And yes I love a guy who knows his way with a hammer just like Imogen. Jesse is a man who thrilled me, shocked me, had me guessing what he would do next in regards to showing Imogen his many talents. Imogen is a relatable woman who I wanted to be best friends with, wanted to console her and tell her just like her BFF Audra that she needs to think outside of the box when it comes to herself and her actions. This is one fun filled, sexy and heartwarming read. Go get this book and find out why Imogen & Jesse story is one you don't want to miss. And be ready for the next 3 books in this series which I am super excited to read.

Loved it. OMG I loved this book, another fab series to look forward to for this author. Based on this book I’m definitely going to read the rest of the series. Jesse is hot as sin and Imogen has just had a rough time with her ex husband. I smiled whilst reading most of the book. Definitely recommend this book

Absolutely loved it. A HEA for the more mature person. Loved the witty banter, great characters. Author knows how construction guys talk and their lingo. Please do yourself a favour and give it a go. 👍👍👍

Superb start to a sexy series. Jasinda Wilder just knows how to write the perfect sexy, rugged, alpha hero who heats you up just by being. Jesse is just that...dreamy. Imogen is 40, recently divorced and struggling to get control of her life. Jesse comes into her life at the point when she’s almost given up. It is insta-lust but she’s still so unsure of her worth. Jesse is so flirty, patient, sexy and supportive of her...he is just what she was missing all her life. They are sexy and hot together and gave me hot flushes. Cherry on top- Jesse has really sexy friends. So I know we have some more awesomeness to look forward to. Grab this book...it cannot be missed. Wow!. What I really loved about this novel is how realistically it portrays getting into a new relationship can be like: messy, exciting and scary. Jesse’s and Imogen’s insecurities make them loveable and realistic. This was such a great story!

Amazing!!. Oh my gosh. I don’t even know where to begin. Jasinda’s writing keeps on getting more amazing with all the books that’s she’s written. Even though this is the first in the series I know it’s going to be an amazing one. After reading this I would love to have a Dad Bod Contracting where I live because HOT DAMN! Inmogen is newly divorced, after her husband cheated on her, all she has left is a house that needs a lot of work. She calls Dad Bod Contracting and she meets Jesse ( where can I find a man like him? ) because she needed a window fixed in her kitchen. Inmogen meeting Jesse I think was perfect, it was just what she needed after everything that happened. They have an instant connection and it’s a steamy one at that. I loved how they came together. This book was all around amazing. I can’t wait to read the next one. I was given an arc in exchange for an honest review.
