My thoughts exactly. Loved this book. It shocked me in parts but I don’t know why. I think because she spoke about feelings I have felt, not for the same reasons but the same feelings nonetheless and I have never heard anyone speak so honestly and openingly. Thank you Lily, for sharing your story, you have been very brave and I really do wish that you keep on fighting, you deserve happiness, fulfilment and knowing you are good enough, because you are regardless of what anyone writes about you, just for being you.

Beyond raw. I’ve always liked Lily- even when it seemed difficult to. This is a brutally honest read that explains rather than justifies certain behaviours and without apology. It’s not the ‘slagging off fest’ that it’s been reported to be either. She’s human- just a famous human. Keep going Lily.

Well I never thought it. Very well written, could not put the book down, never thought life as a singer & songwriter was so tough. It was a good insight behind the scenes of the music industry. Makes me feel guilty that every album or song purchased that the singer/songwriter may have gone through hell to produce it. Can't wait for this book to be dramatised.

My words exactly. Found Lily’s story so far to be an emotional and thought provoking read. Love her truthfulness . I connected with the book in many ways as I think a lot of women will as a mother , daughter sister ,lover , ex wife , and having bi polar , and from being trampled on by men I felt the pain again reading this and recollecting ,but in a healing cathartic way . You will need tissues at the ready but also enjoy rejoicing in the good bits and the lol bits . I loved Lily before and adore her even more now ! She has not only overcome the massive challenges and confusion in her life she has conquered them 💜

Read all within a day. This book you really can’t put down. Even if you don’t like lily allen some of the things she has been through heartache, drugs, alcohol and use of social media, today will really clear your mind that you’re not alone. Brilliant read.
