You’ll catch yourself going back a few paragraphs just to wrap your head around the fact that you’re reading about JESSICA SIMPSON and getting a (pretty big) peek into celebrity life, and then-as cliché as it sounds-continue reading and think, “wow, we’re really not that different.” And you empathize. And you thank her for sharing her story.

This book is raw, honest and beautifully written.. I was a teenager during Jessica’s rise to fame. How humbling it is to read the real words to a story you were constantly subject to due to the media. Tabloids were everything then. Perception was truth. How wrong we were. I have read every celebrity book, most were lackluster, some plain painful, but not this one. This is not just a memoir peeking into the convoluted world of celebrity, something that none of us will know.. This is a book showing the harsh world that many girls experience. I commend Jessica for her ability to be completely open and transparent. This is her story and she writes it beautifully. Her honesty is astounding. It’s so much more than salacious drama.. This is about real life obstacles that we all have endured. She was honest with herself, which is the hardest thing to truly do. But it will help people like me and many others who self medicate and deflect.

A truly incredible read. I came to this book, excited to hear all the delicious drama I speculated about in my youth. I left this book truly inspired. With Jessica, I cried, celebrated, and discovered a desire to renew my faith. This is a truly great read for anyone looking for some inspiration.

Nice read. It’s a nice read! I enjoyed learning about the different things that Jessica went through and things going through her head that was not seen through the media.

Great read. I wasn’t a die hard fan of hers before reading, but I did and have enjoyed a few of her songs and watched Newlyweds. It was fascinating to hear her truths and learn not only her story but see the truths in my story as well. It always warmed my heart that through everything God is still the forefront of her life. Jessica Simpson’s open book 📖. I loved the show Newlyweds and have followed Jessica’s career. I loved 💝 reading this book. You get to see behind the scenes. It’s almost like she’s bringing you into her life as a friend. I can relate to many of her struggles. I’m amazed by her depth and how much she has grown. I never ever do this but... I might have to read it again. It’s soooo good.

Ho Hum. The absolute most boring book I’ve tried to read!

Loved it!,. I’ve always liked Jessica as a artist but this book made me love who she is. Reading the parts about her marriage were sad but seeing how she’s found herself, as a mom, wife and person was really beautiful. Great book 10/10

Honest. I am 59. I had to listen to her music again to remember her songs. That says something about my generation because I know my music and the greatest artists don’t require a search engine. What I learned from her story is that she is a very honest person, faithful to God, unfiltered and who acknowledged her struggles and unpacked them truthfully. Jessica is the bomb! She is a very talented and beautiful person. Impressed.

She’s an open book for sure!. Her heartbreak, her fun, her love, all came through in this must read book. She wasn’t afraid to tell her truth through all the ups and downs throughout her life. Made me look at her in a whole new light.

Easy read but shallow. Honest, easy read, but shallow and full of cliche type writing. Left not being a fan of hers anymore, she is selfish and focused on herself for vanity reasons. Sigh.

What we project to the world is not always the truth. Thank you for opening your soul to the world in this book. Faith kept me reading. It was Jessica Simpsons faith in God that I was able to relate to the most. I found God on my own, and I had a relationship with him despite being raised in a non religious home. Through all of my trauma, I always found myself at Gods feet asking to be saved. Her vulnerability, and courage to admit her weaknesses has made her strong. I never would’ve thought I’d be reading her memoir, but God must’ve put this book directly in my path. Jessica Simpson has gained a new fan. I will pray for her to continue a life of sobriety.

I really liked it. A super easy read that gives you a new perspective on life and the struggles that many go through but try to hide.
