Bulldozer by P. Dangelico Book Summary

What happens when a single mother is forced to live with a grumpy, ailing football star? The smolder turns red hot of course.

Amanda Shaw has pulled it together.

It’s taken a couple of years, a boatload of hard work, and a ton of self-discipline, but she finally has her problems in a headlock.

Her yoga studio in the city has become so successful she’s opening one near the beach, and her relationship with her ten year old son is improving every day.

The last thing she needs is a monkey wrench thrown into her smoothly running life.

Grant Hendricks is one big monkey wrench.

The four time Defensive Player of the Year, three time NFL sack leader, and all around football god has officially hit rock bottom.

A devastating back injury means he may have to retire and that scares him more than doctors telling him the next hit could leave him paralyzed.

All he needs is a quiet place to think and his teammate’s beach house sounds like just the place. Problem is, the woman already living there.

Fun, sweet, smexy read!!. *** 4.5 Stars *** Single mom collides with grumpy, Alpha AF male?? Ummmm, yes please. I mean that right there is my kryptonite and although things moved a little slow for me in the beginning, after a few chapters I didn’t want to put the book down. It was sweet, smexy, funny and filled with all kinds of heartstring pulling moments that it really was impossible to keep myself from turning the pages until the very end. Amanda is a force to be reckoned with and I absolutely adored her. She didn’t have an easy childhood and tripped herself up a few times as an adult, but she found the clarity and strength to pull on her s$%tkickers and get her life in order for herself and her son. She’s sweet, sassy and that mix of strength and vulnerability that makes it easy to connect with her on many levels. Grant is that mix of grizzly bear and teddy bear all rolled up on in one smexy package. Alpha AF, especially in the moodiness arena and protective realm, the man protects and cares for what he deems his, even when others aren’t aware of if. He does have a good dose of ‘insert foot in mouth’ disease, but he comes by it honestly because when you see his heart, you see how blindingly golden it really is. Grant and Amanda’s journey to their HEA was a fun one. The push/pull between them was strong, but the chemistry between them was undeniable from the start, even when that start was a bit bumpy...no sweet meet-cute for these two. But I loved watching them lower their walls and find that not only were they good together, but good for one another, of course Sam and Roxy had very important parts to play in getting them to truly see who the other was beneath the armor. The big bump in the road wasn’t a total surprise, and I ain’t mad at it because it was something they both had to come to terms with, and I loved how everything worked out for them in the end. This is my first read by the author and I did go against my whole not reading a series out of order stance, but I just couldn’t help myself and had to check it out. The writing was engaging, even though in the beginning things felt a little slow for me, but then that moment came and things took off and I was all in. There are quite a few issues that dealt with throughout the story, and I thought they were handle well and actually liked how one secondary story ended up playing out. I loved Sam and Roxy and I now want to go and read Cam and Calvin’s book after meeting them and loving the chemistry between them. With that said, Bulldozer can easily be read as a standalone without any issues. So, now I have a new author to stalk and see if I can fit more books onto the TBR list. ~ Copy provided via NetGalley & voluntarily reviewed ~

Clothing optional. Must read! Paola delivers again!

Sexy Sassy Slowburn - Loved It. Once again P. Dangelico has written an amazing “Slow-Burn” storyline that is sexy, sassy and funny. Plus both the main and supporting characters will grab your heart and feel like family by the books end. And, if that isn’t enough we also get appearances from old friend, an adorable young boy named Sam and a loving canine named Roxy. This is Grant and Amanda’s story and everything from start to finish is a breath of fresh air. From the comical day they meet, when she calls the cops on the naked man standing in the kitchen of her brother’s home to the sassy banter between them as the try to figure out how to co-inhabit her brother's home for the summer, you’ll be continually drawn into their story. This is a wonderful book that I highly recommend grabbing up ASAP. 2 Thumbs Up for a fun series and a great read.

My Heart Be Still. What a funny love story! The beginning was forced but later it was fate. The tall tell tale of love…must read!

Review: Hard To Love 3: Bulldozer. Bulldozer by P. Dangelico is the third book in her Hard To Love series. A contemporary romance told in single POV, a standalone and a happily ever after this book was awesome-sauce and then some. Amanda Shaw is a single mom, successful in her Yoga business partnership with her best friend and ready to open their satellite studio in the Hamptons. Thank goodness her brother, retired NFL footballer Calvin Shaw, has a home here where she and her son can stay while she oversees the renovations and grand opening. What she does NOT expect is the entirely fully naked gloriousness of one Grant Hendricks in the kitchen when she thought the place was empty. One 911 call later and he is still naked and now not overly pleased with the situation. Grant Decker is taking a break for the summer. From Practice while he is recovering from spinal surgery, from his home in the Hamptons to avoid the paparazzi, and he thought, from people in general until his teammate's sister and son arrive and interrupt his lazy beer drinking, wandering around naked days. Powerful emotions, funny situations, strong emotional characters with honest flaws that you can still love. This story was well-paced and well-written and this author is definitely holding a spot on my fave authors list! Enjoy!
