Great Book. Code Name: Rook (Jameson Force Security, #6) was another great read by Sawyer Bennett. Cage us a highly skilled operative for Jameson Force Security but it is hard when it comes to dating. Cage doesn’t like to talk much about his profession because some of it is top secret and very dangerous. Jaime and Cage end up getting married in Vegas after a couple weeks seeing each other but she doesn’t really know what he does for a living. I really loved reading Cage and Jaime’s journey from lust to love. I can’t wait to read more by Sawyer Bennett.

To long of a recap. While I love this series I felt the first 350 or so pages was a recap. I wanted to get to information that was not already given in previous books.

An entertaining and fast paced romantic suspense. This standalone novel is a fantastic romantic suspense set in this author’s wildly popular Jameson Force Security series. True to this author’s previous works, the character development in this book is impeccable and the story is interesting and flows well. This was a relatively quick read for me and that is because I found myself so immersed in the story that I was unable to put the book down. Both Cage and Jaime are likable characters and the chemistry between them is off the charts. Jaime is a breath of fresh air and a strong, kind-hearted heroine. She values honesty above all else after being burned in the past. Of course, Cage has landed himself in a bit of a pickle in lying to her about his profession. This former playboy, ex-Navy Seal is positively irresistible and it was entertaining to see how he continued to get himself all tied up into knots. The romantic aspects along with the kindle melting moments had me swooning and the suspenseful moments contained some excellent twists and turns. As Code Name: Rook is a standalone, I didn’t find myself lost but instead, I became most curious about the secondary characters and their stories. I am excited to go back and read the previous novels. If you are looking for an entertaining romantic suspense with a well flushed out plot, an engaging writing style, and captivating characters then you won't want to miss out on this book!

Sweet & Sexy!. Another great addition to the Jameson Force Security series. This one has been my favorite to date! I just can’t get enough of these sexy, hot ex-military members of the Jameson Force Security. I have been waiting to get to know Cage Murdock “Rook” and it was well worth the wait. Rook and Jaime were awesome characters. They had a fantastic first meeting which set the tone for the entire book. I loved their connection as these two mesh on all levels, mind, intellectually, mentally and sexually Which totally takes Rook by surprise since he has never been a one woman man. But after lying to her about his occupation when he met her, he never seems to be able to find the right time to tell her the truth until it is too late. Will Jaime be able to forgive him? Will these two get their HEA? You will need to read to get all the sexy details!

Great read. I love Jamie and Cages story. You can’t help but root for them. They meet in a bar and unfortunately their relationship starts as a one night stand but they both start to want more the problem is Cage started the relationship with a lie, and now has to find a way to tell Jamie and he waits a little to long. This was one of my favorites and you get to see some of the friends from other books. Sawyer Bennett does not disappoint with her wonderful character and storytelling. I can’t wait for her next book.

Fast paced and steamy. I absolutely devoured this book. I called Cage an idiot on multiple occasions, but I loved the way the book played out. It was fast paced, steamy, and an all around great read.

Cage and Jamie learn to communicate. I have truly enjoyed this series, but this book was not what I was expecting. Yet after saying that, I should not be surprised how it played out. Getting drunk in Vegas and then getting married is not surprising. It's the start of many a story. What surprised me was how hurt and angry Jamie was when she found out Cage's secrets. Yes, I would have expected some hurt and anger, but I felt like she held on to it as a crutch, or a reason not to engage with him. But then I was really surprised how quickly her family accepted him and tried to help him patch things up with her. I have to admit, I love Anna. I know she already had her story, but she is the one person who holds this crew together and she doesn't get enough credit for it. So I'm going to give her credit. If it wasn't for her, I'm not sure Jamie would have listened to Cage. So kudos to Anna. This story reiterates how much communication is necessary in a relationship. I hope they have learned from it and others too.

Absolutely Love Cage & Jaime!!. I have been enjoying this series so much! All of the team members of Jameson Force Security have given us so many hours of reading pleasure thanks to this amazing author and her storytelling skills. Rook is about Cage Murdock. I was really looking forward to Cage's story after having seen him interact with Anna and her daughter in Ghost. And I can happily say it lived up to my expectations. Cage is a former Navy SEAL and an incredible operative for Jameson. His job keeps him extremely busy so hook-ups have been what have always worked for him. But then one night while out at a bar by himself, he meets Jaime, who is a social worker and such an awesome woman. They flirt and really connect first prior to anything physical, but that does come later that same night. They are super steamy together. He was certainly not looking for more than his usual hookup but after one night he knew it was not enough. And everything was so easy between them and their chemistry is out of this world. They are perfect for each other. The one crucial mistake he makes is not telling her about his real job. And boy how that little lie snowballs, and Jaime has a real problem with dishonesty after her last relationship. I really like how the story unfolds and of course how everything turns out. I also love the extent of how some of the others at Jameson get involved and Jaime's family too. Sawyer's books always leave me with such a full heart and a big smile on my face. I loved it!!

Loved this book!!. 5 Stars Code Name: Rook by Sawyer Bennett is the sixth book in the Jameson Force Security Series. Even though it is part of a series, it can be read as a stand-alone. This book was AMAZING and I swear, I couldn’t put it down! All I can say is WOW!!! Cage Murdock was pure perfection!!! He is the epitome of everything you want in a hero-Smart, hot as hell, totally alpha, and successful. The only problem is- he is a player and isn’t looking to settle down anytime soon. But that all changes when he lays his eyes on Jamie. Too bad he has lied from the get-go… I loved this story so much! Jamie and Cage had fantastic chemistry that I felt coming through the pages. I didn’t know if Cage would be able to redeem himself, or if Jamie would even forgive him. Their journey was the absolute best and I cannot wait for the next book in the series!! Highly recommend reading this book!

Here For Tonight or Here For Forever. Cage, aka Rook, is a member of Jameson Security. Upon returning from a successful mission, he wants to decompress by having a drink in a local bar, alone. Cage has never had any problems in attracting women and tonight is like all the others. There’s just one woman who catches his eye though, the redhead across the bar. Not wanting to interrupt her night with her friends, he decides to head on home...until he’s approached by the redhead. Jaime works very hard and is extremely passionate about assisting abused women and children escape their abuser. After experiencing a bad breakup and having ongoing issues with her brother, Jamie decides to take her friends up on their offer for a girl’s night out. While out at the bar, Jamie takes a chance and steps outside her comfort zone to proposition a stranger, aka Cage. What starts off as a one-night stand, quickly turns into friendship, then more. Oh man....where do I start? Jaime is a hero! She’s an amazing woman with a caring heart. When she loves, she loves fully. She’s truthful, funny, and extremely close to her family. She’s also a little scared because she can’t believe that she’s met such an amazing man-even if he’s a car salesman. Cage is your typical Alpha man. He’s the perfect match for Jamie, but their relationship started on a lie. Now it’s up to Cage to make things right. I loved that the ending wasn’t an “easy fix”. I loved that Cage had to grovel and work hard to gain her trust. The “file” had me in tears! BEST ENDING EVER! Highly recommended! I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.

After rescuing his teammate and looking to unwind once he was home, he heads to a local bar where he sees Jamie, and his world changes. Out with her girlfriends, Jamie isn’t looking for a relationship or even a date, until she sets her eyes on Cage. They both break their typical rules and go home together, and their relationship sparks from there. Spending as much time as they can together they quickly become obsessed with each other and learning everything they can. Cage’s real job is still a secret between them and while it kills Cage, he can never find the right time to tell her, until it’s too late. When she travels with him for work, they end up taking a chance and taking their relationship to the next level – getting married! Once they return home, they go about trying to find the best time to tell her family as well as his, but a mission halts all that until he can get home. Unfortunately that’s too late. Thanks to Jamie’s brother, her life is put in danger after Cage gets back from a difficult mission and before he can tell her the truth. Thankfully Cage is able to rescue his new wife, but it comes with a lot of questions that risk their marriage. Rooting for a HEA for Jamie after everything she’s been through, as well as Cage, I was so happy with the ending. I was so obsessed with this storyline after how it was introduced to us at the end of the previous book, and it totally did not disappoint. Also being from Pittsburgh, I love that this book is pretty accurate with the different spots and neighborhoods, which is an added touch for me. I cannot wait for the next installment – I continue to be obsessed with Sawyer’s books and this series! I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Another great read!. Cage Murdock is not looking for love, this playboy has his game all figured out until the beautiful Jaime. What started out as an intense attraction soon becomes so much more, but will the lie Cage told tear them apart. I loved this story, seeing the way Cage falls so beautifully for Jaime their connection is captivating. Romance with some suspense, smoking hot chemistry and swoon worthy characters, it’s what you get in this incredible series! Sawyer Bennett never fails to keep you entertained with such engaging characters.

Great continuation of the series. If your already fans already of this great series you know we’ve already had a tiny glimpse of Cage and Jamie’s start in the last book: Code Name: Ghost. Well it’s time for the whole story! And it’s a doozy 😁 Cage meets Jamie and they are like any new couple getting to know each other...kind of. Big difference is Jamie is fairly up front about everything. Her job her family, and their issues. Then there’s Cage. He’s afraid to tell Jamie exactly who he is. So he fabricates a life he thinks she’d be comfortable with. There’s always time later to come clean...Right? His friends think he’s crazy for not telling the truth but what can they do? Fast forward and things are pretty serious between Cage and Jamie and when they are in Vegas for a convention they decide to get Married! Jamie still doesn’t know who Cage really is. But his time is running out and the lie has him in deep. Will Jamie ever forgive him? Well when some family drama gets Jamie in a dangerous predicament Cage’s time has run out. Now he in for the fight of his life, to get his wife back. I loved the banter we teen these characters. Did I want to smack Cage because of his deception...YES! many times lol. But it kept the story moving at a good pace. I loved the way these two just fell instantly for other. The emotion, heat and action makes this a great read.

Worth the wait!. I have been waiting for Cage’s book and it does not disappoint!!! I loved the chemistry between Cage and Jaime. Their journey isn’t without secrets and throw in a twist and you’ll be hooked until the end. Another great addition to this series! John Lane and Emma Wilder’s narration was fantastic!

Awesome Story & Narration 🎧 Engrossing & Heartfelt!. Code Name: Rook Jameson Force Security, Book 6 By: Sawyer Bennett Narrated by: John Lane, Emma Wilder Sawyer Bennett pens another awesome novel in her “Jameson Force Security” series. I am loving the characters and their stories in this amazing series. This book is Cage Murdock and Jaime Dolan’s story, their story grabbed my attention right from the start and held it straight to the end. I was completely engrossed by this story, so much I listened to it non-stop, wanting or rather needing to know what happened next. I adored both lead characters, they are realistic, easy to relate to and connect with. Cage just finished a rescue mission with his team at JFS, he needed to unwind and knew the perfect way to do that, find someone to spend the night with. He heads out to the local bar and it does not take him long to find that someone and she winds up finding him. Jaime is out with friends when she spots Cage after a brief eye contact she approached him. The two hit is off and they have a steamy night together. Sage does not do relationships and rarely has more than a one night stand so he does not share what his real job is with Jaime, he tells her he is a car salesman. There is something about Jaime that has him wanting to see her again and he gets stuck with that lie, he knows she has trust issues and is not sure how she is going to handle that he was not exactly truthful. I loved how everything plays out in this book, the story is cleverly plotted with plenty of drama, some angst, a surprising plot twist that causes thrilling and suspenseful moments in addition to heartfelt and emotional moments and some hot romance. Sawyer Bennett, thats you for another awesome story and emotional rollercoaster ride. It was great to see the Jameson crew again, Jaime’s family was awesome too, loved how tight knit and supportive they were of her. 🎧📚🎧 And for the Fabulous narration, John Lane and Emma Wilder are the perfect cast to bring these characters and their story to life. They do an awesome job portraying the characters, giving each their own unique voice and grasping their persona making the role their own. They sounded just as I pictured the characters to sound, John Lane was the perfect Cage and Emma Wilder the perfect. You could hear how much heart they put into their work as they capture the characters emotions and project them into their performance. They are entertaining storytellers and versatile voice artists who are a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this awesome listen🎧

Ticked all my boxes. This is a series I will never tire off and Code Name: Rook ( Jameson Force Security #6) is a perfect addition to this wonderful series snd the narrators did a wonderful job bringing this book to life.Cage Murdock lives for his job, an operative with no real roots means never giving himself to one woman and never giving a woman more than a couple of nights but a one night stand with Jaime turns into so much more and now he finds himself trying to explain what he really does for a living. One night in Sin City leaves this couple married and that’s when the plot thickens as they embark on a journey of twists and turns.... Their journey will not only keep you turning the pages it will also keep you on the edge of your seat as they negotiate lies, trust issues and love, whilst trying to embark on a rescue mission. Will Jaime forgive the man she thought she had married or will the truth destroy the love they share... This book touched me on so many levels, the chemistry is sizzling, the characters are easy to fall for and the plot captivated me and let’s not forget the emotions because this is truly a heartfelt romance that will apply to a wide range of audiences. John Lane and Emma Wilder really had me swooning as I listened to one of my my favourite reads.

4 stars. I’ve been itching for this story and it did not disappoint! I loved Cage and his banter, really enjoyed how strong and independent Jaime is. A really enjoyable read, I love this series and can’t wait for more.

So good. This is the sixth book in the Jameson Force Security series and I found myself just as entertained and riveted as I was with the previous books. Sawyer Bennett writes a story that is equal parts romance and suspense which makes for a well balanced, exciting and intriguing read. I couldn’t wait to see what Ms.Bennett had in store for Cage Murdock, an operative who is always on the move, never giving a woman more than a night or two. I knew that the woman who would get to him would need to be special and Jaime certainly is. The only problem is she thinks she married a used car salesman. What will happen when the truth is revealed? There were plenty of twists and turns and I was on the edge of my seat at times. The chemistry between Cage and Jaime is smoking hot and the story was emotional at times. When danger rears it’s head and Jaime is in the line of fire, Cage and the Jameson Force Security team will do whatever is necessary to save her. Will Jaime be able to understand and forgive Cage or will their marriage be destroyed?

Code Name: Rook. Being a security operative for Jameson Force Security, Cage has never had the interest or time in anything more than a one-night stand. When Jamie unwillingly gets kidnapped and Cage is forced to rescue her, he will have a lot of explaining to do. We finally get to see more into Cage Murdock. This book was lighter in suspense than the other Jameson Force Security books and has a decent amount of overlap with Code Name: Ghost. Cage and Jamie are extremely likeable, have good chemistry and a very comfortable relationship. It was great to catch up with the rest of the team at Jameson. Code Name: Rook is an instant love romantic suspense and a great addition to the Jameson Force Security series and even though it can be read as a stand alone, I highly recommend reading the entire series to get to know the other members of the team.
