Not what l had hoped to learn. For those readers interested in the minute details of famous or influential people’s lives, this book would be a perfect one to read. For me, however, l wanted to learn who Donald Trump’s wife really is, behind the plastic facial expressions she reveals to the public. Except for the last few pages of the book, however, her values, opinions, intentions and personality are neither examined nor explained by the author. Instead, the author’s blind loyalty (that she interprets as ‘friendship’)

Trusted advisor turned into a rat. Trying to make a quick dollar, some people will do anything. She prob stole from Melania and sold her stuff. Sad

Beyond naive.. It’s painful to read. Ms. Wilcox never seemed to move beyond wanting to be friends with the cool girl in high school. I appreciate the need to get it off her chest, but honestly, everyone knows, and knew then, that everything the Trumps touch withers. If you cannot recognize Melania’s cold imperialism even from a distance, there is not much hope for being warned. I feel sorry for her. Most of caught on early that the cool girls weren’t worth the time.

Meanie and Me. Hello It’s just like a soapbox you watch on TV OR AROUND THE WORLD LIKE WILLIAM AND KATE IT a very difficult times in today’s world. It’s has trashed many many lives Maybe these isn’t the right place to write my opinion. Just pray for peaceful moments and peaceful thoughts though out the world. Safety and beware who you’re are in Life!!!!

Well written. Apple needs to do better at taking down fake reviews!!! It’s despicable to see one star and nasty comments in the reviews section just because a book goes against their party, and comments stating and/or showing they didn’t read the book at all. I’m an avid reader of all types of books. I try to take in all sides (even if I don’t like it) and form my own opinion. Some books I borrow from the library because I refuse to give them money. We don’t always like or agree with the things that our friends or family do, say, stand for, etc... sometimes it takes several times of really bad things before we finally say enough is enough!

Simple and straight forward.. Great book and easy read. Gives clear insight

Sycophants turned whistleblowers??. I’m failing to see the value of all of these sycophants who supported these people into power and stuck around to soak up whatever benefit they could from people that *we all knew* were corrupt and greedy turning around and doing these *tell all* books, as if the rest of us should be surprised that someone who acted a way for 30-60 yrs+ is still acting that way. So we all knew they steal money and displace blame onto others. The author is the only person in the country who didn’t??? And then she’s shocked when it effects her negatively?? some advice: DONT BE A SYCOPHANT!! It’s equally as corrupt and evil as the principle actor! You guys are adults. These excuses are pathetic. Your enablers for your own gain. You did know better. You convinced yourself otherwise. Live it, but don’t pretend your an innocent, unknowing victim just because you lied to yourself for so long....

Melania at her “BE BEST”. I cannot wait until the world hears these tapes. Melania is a pig.

This book is trash!. A trashy book about the trashy housewives of DC. I don’t have any sympathy for the author. She tries to make it sound like she was doing it all for her country. Please! Don’t insult my intelligence. A bunch immoral, money loving, power hungry people, backstabbing each other, while some of them pretending to be patriots and some not even pretending. This book is terrible and so high school. I can’t believe Rachel Maddow recommended it. I am returning it after writing this review.

Melania and Me. At times interesting. I’m not a Trump supporter, but I don’t feel completely sorry for the author. My feeling about her is that she is bright enough to know what the Trumps are like, but she did not think they would use and abuse her because she is one of them.

Great story and insight into MT!. I am not a republican and do not support anything Trump related. However, I saw this author interviewed for this book, and was intrigued none the less. So I downloaded the free sample and was hooked. The style of writing is smooth and easy to follow and I could not put it down. Read the whole book in a day! I’m glad I bought and read it. Also thrilled that no profits go to the Trumps!

Great Book. Page turner and informative. Proved all my suspicions about Melanie.

Real Scoop. I get why she wrote this! I think this story needed to be told. Not as much a political party story as one that anyone can be “had” as well as what can be learned! But good book if you want to be a fly on the wall of some real life stuff!

Go trump!. Horrible lies, I also don’t really care about your relationships. But I care about the how this country is gonna end up if trump doesn’t get elected!

Pity Party. Someone..... please give her an access pass!!! Not at all pleased with this book.

Boring. I stopped reading at third chapter. Only talks about herself.

So boring!. The book is name dropping after name dropping of people that don’t offer anything to the story, the author listing her years of accomplishments and gossip that we have already seen on the internet. It is such a boring book. It doesn’t have an interesting story to tell, it has no depth, no point of view. The author is not creative or deep in her way to tell a story neither. The book has no texture, doesn’t leave you thinking, it’s such a waste of time. Totally disappointed with the quality of the writing.

Wow!. There is absolutely nothing in the pages of this book that has not already been written. Blasé.

Really sad. While I’ve disliked Trump even from his apprentice days, I thought I liked Melania and thought of her as kind of a victim of his. Nope, she’s good with his corruption.

Very empowering. Stephanie is an excellent writer. I felt like I was right there with her in every situation that she was in. Is was so juicy that I couldn’t stop reading it. Her wisdom and words gave me strength to fight for what is right and to always be aware of what is happening in my circle.

Lots of twists and turns!. Powerful story with lots of twists and turns that always kept me guessing. Just when I thought I had it figured out, things would change direction completely. I loved the suspense and the way the author kept things moving. Would definitely recommend!

Poor baby ☹️(not!). What a Self Centered, ultra melodramatic, whiny Ex (self described) BBF of the First Lady! The author is pitifully wallowing in her own self pity.

Lessons hard learned and well written. The Author recounts her personal experience in learning the painful lesson that being complicit to cruelty can easily make you a victim of that cruelty. It’s well written and easy read with the result being you see lying beneath the selfish, cruel Trump exterior - there is a layer of even more toxic selfish, cruel ignorance. Like a rotten onion....... which makes you want to both cry and vomit. Considering the author worked in the fashion world (not known for being a particularly kind, trustworthy or positive environment) and THEN went on to write the memoir of the worst years of her life AFTER leaving to work at the White House - that’s saying something.

Well written. I hope that she gets vindication but Melania will never understand the damage she has done. It is not in her psyche so a lesson should be learned that you cannot change the stripes on a tiger.

Raw and Real. Couldn’t put this down. You can feel the author’s distress and emotions.

Many people can relate. At one time in our lives - we have been victims of malignant narcissists - universally - this author portrayed this Bless her for speaking up - you have helped us who chose to not be victims or victimizers -

Roger L. Myers. Absolutely extraordinary reading I couldn’t put the book down. I would read so much at one time that my eyes hurt and the letters started to go together my eyes were exhausted I had to rest them before I could continue on reading. It opened up and I learn some about Melania, Mr. Trump and even the Author Stephanie Winston Wolkoff. It was also interesting to read the extraordinary detail and cost of the inauguration. So many different emotions as I read the book I found myself getting a chuckle at some of the stuff she was saying as if I was there hearing it firsthand. Your courage your strength and loyalty I found to be extraordinary. A true friend! I’ve enjoyed your book immensely I want to thank you for writing it. Many questions were answered. Good luck on your future great book!

Melania and Me. Stephanie Wolkoff is very whiney and a real doormat. It can sometimes be difficult to read while you are screaming at Stephanie to get the hell out of there! I spent a whole lot of time cringing at the way she allowed herself to be walked all over. But it was very compelling watching how horrible Melania and the rest of the group are! Worth the read just for that part of it.

What a page turner this is!. This book confirms once and for all that our FLOTUS is a Bot! By the time I am through with the avalanche of contemporary memoirs of the Trump years, I will have learned so much about this abominable American dynasty! Thank you for your contribution.

Loyal only to herself. Unfortunately, Melania only truly cares about Melania - not a great characteristic in a First Lady. Why her friend stayed loyal for so long is baffling. I guess we only see what we want to believe. Melania is Trump all the way.

Writer makes me sick. Privileged, clueless, narrow-minded…how do such ignorant people, like this author, become successful? And, seriously, we’re supposed to believe she didn’t see the corruption until his administration was over?! If Melania didn’t share with you, she wasn’t a good friend. It just doesn’t work that way. Looks like to me, you were riding the fame train until you fell off.

Very Enlightened Read on Melania Trump. I thought at first she was a victim of Trump. But, clearly she is a willing & motivated partner in the whole grifting Trump family. No more “Blink Twice if you need help” in defense of this woman. She is everything negative I’ve seen on social media. She is quiet, but a complicit party to the corruption. I really don’t care, do u?

Great Read. The author tells her story and it’s a good one. It is sad that millions of dollars could be used to do great things in our country instead of wasted throwing parties! What a shame.
