Gross misrepresentation of the fitness industry. While the authors reflect a comedic and exaggerated view of fad diets, fitness trends, the Manhattanite socialite demographic, and eccentric wealthy characters with honesty to a given extent- their overemphasis of these things grossly misrepresents a field I find to be welcoming and adoptive as a whole. I understand the easily sold concept of "love your body" but the purposes to which the authors try to communicate this image dishonors the intention of fitness and wellness too much. Hard to read, harder to like the characters including the protagonist. I wouldn't recommend this book.

Amazing!. I rented this at the library due to the funny synopsis and I am so glad I did! It’s a hilarious read that I couldn’t put down. The main character is well developed and the story line constantly gets better. The concept of the book is incredibly relateable to this day and age, I even found myself guilty of committing a few of these diet crimes. 5 stars, would highly recommend.
