Eh.. The story is very plane. Model and a hot guy. They havent even begun dating and the guy is calling her wife material. Seems to move fast and the female lead is kind of a cry baby and very emotional.

Deacon (Book 1, Starkis Family Series). What an interesting book. Although this story irritated me quit a bit, it also held my interest the entire time I was reading it - sign of a good author! I don't know if I would of been able to trust Deacon either. This story is a roller coaster ride full of emotion, & had me thinking, a lot.

Love the story. I have a pattern in the kinds of books I read. This one is not it, but I loved it. I wish it would include an epilogue of their hea.

Deacon and Mia truly explemplify the old phrase “Love Conquers All”!. You will be drawn into Deason and Mia’s world of love, lies, and the ability to get beyond all that stands in the way of their happily ever after. Cheryl Douglas has truly outdone herself with the Starkis Family Series and I am excited to see what is to come for the rest of the family. Story had great potential. The story from the synopsis had me intrigued but then it veered into a world where a very young woman seemed to big odd guys and Deacon’s secret was just weird. Especially how quickly it was resolved.

Good read. Loved the storyline. Well written
