About the author
Paullina Simons was born in Leningrad in 1963. As a child she emigrated to Queens, New York, and attended colleges in Long Island. Then she moved to England and attended Essex University, before returning to America. She lives in New York with her husband and children.

A great and engaging story, but one exception. (Mild spoilers) What I appreciated about the book was the realistic depictions of dealing with the loss of a loved one and taking years to finally appreciate their life in Topeka, Kansas (Tully’s hometown). There’s one problem though; there will be some typos (only a few). I excuse them due to the fact it’s Paullina Simons’ debut novel. It’s still a great book and recommend it for people who like drama literature.
I love this book.. I dont know how many times have i read this book it most it been like 5 or 6 times no exageration and every time i get the same feelings i got the first time. I love this book i even got my cousin and my younger sister hooked on the book i definitly recommend this book to every body.
The only book I've ever read 3 times. The first when it came out, I was a teenager. Again, when I was in my late twenties and now that I am turning forty. I've taken something different from each time as I have grown but essentially the same thing I keep going back to is Tully's struggle to get over the past and live and appreciate the life she has.
