The Herd. Just finished this fantastic Dawn O'Porter book, can't remember the last time I read something that made me laugh out loud and cry at the same time. She shows fantastic insight into just how judgemental the world can be against childless women ( I'm one myself!) though not by choice .. she really has an incredible gift in the way she shapes her characters and how that she then puts the pieces of the jigsaw to link them up is priceless . I really hope someone out there will make a TV comedy drama out of it.. I've seen and enjoyed some of Dawns TV documentaries but she's an awesome novel writer too - more please!

Refreshingly different. Fab

A great read but left feeling a little dissatisfied. Don’t get me wrong I did enjoy reading this book, couldn’t put it down at one point, the characters are hilarious and strong willed women (a little mad at times) but the premise was good and it started really strong - however I feel that the attempt to connect Tara, Cam and Stella together felt really forced and far fetched. All the characters individual story arcs were well thought out and so interesting which is what kept me hooked, but once the moment on the stairs happened and the three women’s lives started to merge I just got a little disappointed that that was where the story was heading. It was a really fun read though, Thank you Dawn for portraying real women, I hope you don’t think my criticism is too harsh, I can see that lots of others readers throughly enjoyed it!

WOW... just, WOW. From start to end this book is EVERYTHING! Every character bought to life and each one relatable in its own way! Was ‘forced’ to read this as it was the choice of one of our book club crew, but I couldn’t be happier and will read more from Dawn for sure!

The Cows. I absolutely loved this book! It had me from the first page, I laughed, cried and was left lost in my thoughts! Now I have finished it I feel a bit lost! An absolute must read!

Disappointed. This had really good reviews which was why I was so incredibly disappointed when I finished it. It was an easy read which I needed at the time but I didn’t really connect with any of the characters. Perhaps that’s my issue though. The one character I did like, the blogger, well I won’t include any spoilers but it was part of a very lazy ending. I enjoyed it in the end somewhat, but it probably shouldn’t have taken that long to get that good.
