Don’t waste your time. Don’t waste your time on this book unless you like thoroughly depressing stories. The characters are depressing, the theme is depressing, the aesthetics are depressing and the ending is even worse. I NEVER write reviews but I did so this time to hopefully save someone else the bother of reading this one. I give it 0 stars:(

Glad it’s over. Not much I can say about this book other than I’m glad it’s over and I wish I would have saved my money for pretty much anything else. Boring story, awful and unlikable characters who are weak and pathetic, clearly this one just wasn’t for me.

One of my favorite thrillers. Don’t know what people’s problem is in the reviews. I read thrillers almost exclusively (not to mention it’s my favorite genre of movies as well) and I found this book to be a page turning wild ride. The chapters are written so well to distinguish the characters it almost feels like different voices telling the story. I love the author and have read her other super well written and great thriller “Unraveling Oliver.” She is one of my absolute favorite writers. She just came out with a new book last month which I’ve ordered and am exited to read also. I highly recommend her books especially this one.

Horrible Ending!. So disappointed! This book was super hard to get through because most of the characters had NO redeeming qualities! The end of the book was HORRIBLE, so I basically wasted my time AND my money! I do not recommend at all!

Lying in Wait. What you have is a weak husband, overbearing obsessed evil self centered wife, with a son. All American dysfunctional family. The story has twist and turns, not crazy about the end I think the wife should have been found out and punished.

A real page turner. A real page turner, there are a few I’m probabilities in the plot but it’s easy to ignore those because it’s not a serious read or a book that takes itself seriously... it’s pure entertainment and 100% engaging.

Awful, just Awful. I don’t usually write reviews but this book was such a waste of time! The ending was awful and the characters were all so unlikeable!! Please do yourself a favor and just skip this book!
