But the book is sooo hot!. Kait Nolan does it again! I think the Stormageddon really added verisimilitude to their first meeting and it ramped up from there. This story has a little tie-in to the characters of the Misfit Inn series that just makes the world feel more complete. This story just illustrates how you can make plans but things don’t always work out the way you plan. But sometimes they still work out.

Amazing!. I read the prequel and then I read this book! Writer is master storyteller. The characters are incredible. It’s hard not to get addicted to the story since it just flows effortlessly. Your heart can’t help to go out to the many military soldiers, friends and family. My nerves were on edge at the moment where the characters meet. If you love a swoon worthy hero you will definitely enjoy this story. This book ties together different genres. The chemistry between Harrison and Ivy is pure steamy passion. This in no way takes away from the story but it lays down the foundation for who they can be as partners. You will be pulled into the story, feel what the characters are feeling and experience what they are going through. You will be rooting for them. I guarantee it

Cold outside, but not inside!. What a great addition and follow up to “Snowed in With the Ranger”! Honestly, I was one of those people who secretly wanted a longer story, so I was grateful when the masses requested it. I loved the build-up between Ivy and Harrison and loved the behind the scenes on his end to make the story even broader. The chemistry remains, but the story evolves into a full length romance. I would recommend this read on a snowy day… or a day you wish it was cold outside! Disclosure: I have received a copy of this book from the author and have chosen to review it with my honest opinion.

Great read. Drive out of town to get away and run off a ditch to be rescued by a “lumberjack”. Love the characters, both strong, very observant and wise. loved the internal battle they had with themselves as they sized each other up. They learned how to feel and found “home” with themselves and each other. HEA and a very good read!

Baby It’s Cold Outside. One of the best books I’ve read in a while.

First book since high school. After leaving a 7 year relationship with someone, I felt an urge to feel some kind of passion or some kind of feelings I would normally get from people but turned away for a more self healing adventure. Anyways, the words used in this book made my world of thinking fire up and visualize the relationship between Harrison and Ivy. Being a guy, I’m not much of a sucker for romance but this first book I’ve read since high school definitely helps me understand how much intimacy and romance can be used to narrate an image into a readers mind. I’m going to keep reading the series now since this book has got me hooked. Thank you!

Baby It’s Cold Outside. I so enjoyed this book ! It held my interest throughout. The characters, Ivy and Harrison, were compelling. Their dialogue was witty. Kind of reminded me of Nora Roberts’ books. I will definitely be reading more by Kati Nolan. No foul language that I remember, and sexual encounters were tastefully described.

The Army Ranger. He stole her heart then walked out. Never thought she’d recover. Loved this story, grabbed my heart.

I love this author’s quirky, zany sense of humor. I demand more Ivy and Harrison! NOW! I’m nowhere near being done with their story even though the book is over. I love this author’s quirky, zany sense of humor. She always has me in stitches over at least one scene in every book. She also manages to land me in tears over the course of nearly every book, too. (I didn’t quite go over the edge with this one, but there was a lot of hard blinking.) A pair of loners run away to from their responsibilities, seeking peace. It’s either the set up to a great joke or one heck of a story. What if it’s a little bit of both? To me, that’s exactly what this book became: funny, sweet, quirky, and at times tragic. It’s a bit of a roller-coaster ride. But, like the best roller-coaster rides, you want to go back around again as soon as you’re done. On a side note, I was perfectly happy with the fictional Stormageddon. I didn’t appreciate the cosmic timing that dumped a foot of the fluffy white stuff on my home town while I read about Ivy and Harrison’s icy encounter (the first time). I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.
