Paws-itively wonderful. This is the first book I’ve read from this author and despite not beginning with the first book in the series, I was able to understand the concept of her series. Basically, men shifters in a new world who are lucky enough to find their fated mates. Owen is considered an outcast from his tribe and because of that has been forbidden to have any contact with his fated mate, Tara. He has to live apart from all the other shifters aside from his sister, who has chosen to stay with him. But Owen manages to keep watch over Tara despite all the warnings. Then one day Tara becomes the object of another shifter’s attention and Owen has to fight to get her back, exposing his own secret as a shifter. I didn’t expect to enjoy this book so much! The story was compelling and the characters were interesting enough that I cared about what happened to them. I loved that Owen was accepting of his fate as an outcast until he wasn’t. He wasn’t going to let his mate be harmed because of a mistake that he made and if he was going to be killed because he protected her then so be it. I loved that he tried to convince his sister to leave him and join the others so that she wouldn’t be lonely. I loved that he had the courage to protect the dragon that had made him an outcast. This book was so great I’ve decided to read all the ones I’ve missed!

To almost have the one meant for you. He’s an outcast and by the laws of his world he must live alone with no mate. But he has found her and because of the laws he will never get to know her and what it would be to love and be loved by her. She sees peeks of him all the time but he avoids her. But those little glimpses make her heart beat fast. How is he and why won’t he talk to her? The story is a great romance of a shifter and one human female. Circumstances aren’t going to let him stay away if he wants to protect her. Plenty of fighting and a few hot but romantic scenes.

Honor saves everyone. Owen the bear shifter is an outcast, a former alpha who lost his tribe and his honor to a cheating opponent. He scents Tara at her parents store in town but dares not claim her. As an outcast it is forbidden. Col the dragon shifter will kill him. But rogue wolves target her, her parents are away, and his bear won't let Tara go unprotected. This suspenseful love story sees an outcast brought into the tribe along with his mate. Super sexy, heartbreaking in parts, and touched with subtle humor and compassion, this is a shifter story well worth reading.

Fine. Didn’t care for the ending.

Cheering the outcast on. Third book in this series - which is a complete story but flows well for the next book. The series has different shifters making up the leads which is also fun to read as well. Never a dull moment. I enjoyed this book - cheering for the shifter that became an outcast in their former world. I loved that the women supported each other and could see that change/adaptation was for the best. I also loved the action, suspense and drama resulting in unconditional love. Highly recommend- you get enough back story within the book to not be confused about where these shifters came from HOWEVER, truly you don’t want only read this book…. You’d want to read the two before this!

I LOVE THIS SERIES!!!. I have many of Krystal Shannan’s books but this is my favorite. Of course I’ve said that about most in this series and the “Sanctuary” series. Thankfully her books are a good value otherwise I may have missed GREAT reads. I recommend anything written by this beautifully creative and talented author. Can’t wait for the wolf story!

ARC Reader. Great story about Owen overcomes a tragedy from his past to be with his Soul mate. Tara and Owen have many challenges to overcome before they can have their happily ever after.

Fantastic. ARC REVIEW This was the first book I read in this series. So all the characters were new to me. I loved this story it was heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time. Owen and Tara are wonderful characters full of life and love. I can't wait to see what else is going to happen in Mystery Alaska. Now to go back and read he first two books in the series. Well done Ms. Shannan.

Fun story. I really enjoyed this one! This was a fun story to read and pulled me in from beginning to end. Tara and Owen don’t have it easy and people keep interfering and trying to keep them apart but there is something that continues to draw them together. I loved the characters and am excited to see where this series goes next.

Owen and Tara. This third book in the series is heartbreaking. Tara's experiences with Raish should come with a trigger warning. Owen is such a sweet and caring bear and his love for Tara is so pure that his honour in staying away from her is devastating. This story has so many emotions but in the end love wins. This series is full of great characters and each book is better than the previous story.
