Amazing story and part of the best series I have read this year. This is an amazing/haunting/exciting/scary/fun look at what life could be like after a horrible disease ravages the US and makes everyone revert back to times they can't remember, without lights/gas/food/light/etc. This is an intriguing story that keeps you guessing and will have you wanting to read more and more. This is a great read and the series is amazing. If you haven't read the first book start there it is called The Line Between. Dive into the journey and enjoy. 5 Stars!

Brilliantly Done! I miss these characters already.. This sequel to The Line Between was thrilling to read and very hard to put down. There were so many twists and turns that I did not see coming. Very well done, making it an exciting adventure. There is action, despair, love, loss, deceit, fear of the unknown, determination, sacrifice, fierce bravery and the strong will to survive. This story feels so real, deep in your gut. This is what it looks like when people are struggling to survive with limited resources. The characters are beautifully written and so easy to connect with. I didn’t want to leave them. I didn’t want to close that last page. Another exciting and wonderfully written story by Tosca Lee! Thank you to NetGalley, Howard Books and Tosca Lee for my advanced digital copy of A Single Light. I loved it so much that I had to preorder my very own hardcover copy!

Tosca Lee is a masterful storyteller!. Tosca Lee is a masterful storyteller! A Single Light is different from any other apocalyptic genre out there. Instead of the story taking place in the aftermath of a devastating event, Tosca places you right in the middle of the event as it is occurring. It gripped me from beginning to end and I could not stop myself from turning to the next page. The style how Tosca writes has a natural flow that makes the story read easily and quickly. This allows the reader to become immersed in the novel through the use of language and syntax which naturally assists it to become an engaging Thriller.

B movie type melodrama. 1 star for writing, plus 2 stars for prescient flu pandemic theme. Only months after this was published, our real life pandemic began. For that reason alone, I read the book cover to cover, and marveled at the coincidental parallels to our lives.

A fantastic ending to this apocalyptic thriller!. Phenomenal... i’ve been eagerly awaiting the sequel to the line between Tosca Lee. I absolutely loved this apocalyptic thriller. When cult escapee Wynter Roth and ex-Marine Chase Miller emerge from their bunker months after the country is overtaken by a killer disease, they find themselves on the run. They are desperately searching for antibiotics that are in short supply as well as food, fuel, and help. As more lies are uncovered, and truths come out before they even leave the bunker, the question is can they survive and work together for the greater good? I loved the real life desperation I believe you would see if this story became a reality. The desperation. The loss of hope. The lawlessness. Then...the reemergence if the good. The hope slowly being restored. I’m in love with this book, but hope we don’t see this become reality. Yes, it feels that real! If you love apocalyptic thriller’s with a dash of romance and strong male and female lead characters, you will love The Line Between and the second book, A Single Light! I’m desperately hopeful they will make a movie that lives up to the book. I was given an advanced reader copy through NetGalley by the publisher. All opinions are my own.

An awesome sequel- NO DOUBT!. Either by a stroke of luck, in which I don’t believe, or because of persistent begging, I happily received a galley of Tosca Lee’s newest novel. A Single Light, the sequel to The Line Between, was a welcome addition to my reading list. I tried to pace myself but still devoured it in three days. I admit I was excited to read it as I completely enjoyed the characters and plot development in The Line Between. Tosca is a great story teller. I was not disappointed with the sequel in the least. As much more a reader than a line editor I focus on the flow and connectivity of the story, scenes, and how they come to rest at the end of the tale. If a story grabs me I cease seeing the punctuation. I fall in and swim with the current. A Single Light had some calm eddies and some Class 5 white water so you won’t get bored. Just try and hold your breath! I again saw one of the reasons I enjoy Lee’s writing so much. As with her other solo works, there is a gravity about her writing that pulls readers in and along with it. A Single Light is no different. There is an eloquence of purpose in Tosca Lee’s words. Each scene, each bit of dialogue, each character interaction seems like it’s going somewhere. I don’t know how much this is due to her skill in the writing craft or if she simply has a knack for it. Words are not wasted. The characters are solid with a sampling of just about every type of personality out there. Some old, some new, and some...well, it seems Tosca is not afraid to kill off some really good characters. But in an apocalypse good people gotta die right? Once again Tosca Lee has written a super enjoyable, well thought out thriller. There is only one recurring issue I have with her books. They end. I definitely encourage readers to get A Single Light, ASAP. Wynter is coming again!

Hold on to your britches!. If you thought “The Line Between” was intense, hold on to your britches! Lee cranks up the intensity, and the body count, in this heart-pounding sequel. With no good place to put this fast-passed thriller down, “A Single Light” will keep you reading well into the night. This character driven novel picks up in the underground silo where secrets come out and tensions run high. When the door finally opens, nothing is as expected. The area has been decimated and at first it’s unclear if anyone else has survived. A desperate need for medicine sends Wynter and Chase into a dangerous new world where everything that could possibly go wrong, does. Once again, the key to saving the world is Wynter, if she can stay alive long enough to save it.

Another amazing adventure. Another fascinating read from Tosca Lee!! This book does not disappoint as the sequel to The Line Between. Tosca effortlessly weaves poignant emotions and clever dialogue into the non-stop action. My heart was racing more than once as I turned the pages. I did not see that ending coming! #action-packed

A great read!. What a thrill ride! In “A Single Light” Tosca Lee served up another gripping tale. I read the first book in the series “The Line Between” in a single afternoon, forsaking all other tasks. I didn’t have that luxury this time. It was quite difficult to focus on other things while my mind was wondering what would happen next to Wynter Roth! Highly recommend to fans of post-apocalyptic fiction.

Excellent Read!!!!!. This book was a thrilling and very enjoyable ride. I received a free ARC for my honest and unbiased review. A Single Light picks up where "The Line Between" Left off. A virus as old as the hills with no vaccine has been unearthed and is ravaging America. A few over 60 people have been inside a bunker that has been time locked and sealed by a forward looking "pepper" of sorts, in order to preserve a few human remnants that are untainted by the virus. The bunker has everything needed to sustain life for the 6 months that it will be locked and sealed. This book takes you through life inside the highly sophisticated bunker and into a whole new world. Not wanting to give away any details that will spoil the fun for you, I can positively say that at no point was I bored with the story line or feeling as though it dragged its feet at any point. The story just flows like a raft through a calm river and heads into som very rough Rapids and yes there is a waterfall. I thoroughly enjoyed how the story line steadily picks up speed and sends you into a very rough and wild ride. Tosca made me feel like I was there with the characters and connected to every emotion. Like all of her other books I give this a very hefty 5 STARS. I Highly recommended this book and look forward to much much more from Tosca Lee.

A Single Light. A wonderful, gripping follow up book. The reader is taken through the whirlwind of navigating a new world existing outside of the silo. What the group encounters is unimaginable. This story will keep you on the edge of your seat and engaged until the very end. Tosca Lee is a wonderful storyteller that keeps you wanting more!
