Lauren Crenshaw and her Norwegian Forest Cat Annie run their own certified cat café in the picturesque small town of Gold Leaf Valley, Northern California. Lauren's fun cousin Zoe helps out as well.
Lauren, Annie, and Zoe are shocked when one of their favorite customers is poisoned. Steve came into the café nearly every day – but who wanted him dead?
The trio find themselves suspecting their customers – even elderly Mrs. Finch, whom Lauren thinks of as a substitute grandmother, doesn't escape their scrutiny.
The new (and attractive) police detective warns them off the case. But Annie, the Norwegian Forest Cat, seems to have a nose for sniffing out trouble.
Can Lauren, Annie, and Zoe catch the killer before the killer catches them?
This is a humorous, clean, cat cozy mystery with female amateur sleuths – and a gorgeous Norwegian Forest Cat!

Best stories you’ll ever get. It’s so good and amazing that you will love it it’s so cute you won’t even let the second book the third book the fourth book the fifth book in the book in the fourth book even though I already said that is cute The story will blow your mind it’s so good is the best story in the whole world
Easy read. It’s simple but wordy story. Predictable but worthy. The characters are 2 dimensional and forgettable. If you are in an Episcopal church you would pick up a Book of Common Prayer, not a Bible That is an important factoid that dates to the Reformation. trump also biffed that one. I will read book 2 to see if the characters become more dimensional and intriguing.
Entertaining. What a joy. Just what I needed. Loved Annie too.
Nice page turner. Setting in a little town not far from a big city with a refreshing point of view. Nice clues along the way.
Fun read!. Really enjoyed this mystery! Annie sounds like a really fun cat to own!
Delightful reading. I loved this book. It was wonderful fun, light reading. A cat, a bit of romance, murder mystery and great characters.
