Cures insomnia. I have always liked the author’s books. They’ve had a good plot and had touches of humor. This one, however, was draggy. It reads like the publisher insisted on more length and the author put in additional words that added nothing to the story. And the story is weak. Avoid this book unless you need naps.

Blood Lines. Started out a little slow. By the end couldn’t put it down. Glad I didn’t give up on the book.

Blood Lines. Nelson DeMille, Alex DeMille. Special agents Scott Brodie and Maggie Taylor are investigating the death of one of their own, U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer Harry Vance, an operative in the the TCIU. Shot dead by a sniper in a German Park on his way to a clandestine meeting. One of his eyes was also gouged out. What ensues is a nonstop story of deceit, intrigue and bravery. An excellent read!! Enjoyed immensely!! My highest recommendation!!

High Octane. One of the best books I have read this year…actually, the last 10 years. Great plot, very current, and very believable. Very clever writing. The character development is as good as it gets. Need more of Scott and Magnolia. Can’t wait for the next book.

DeMille doe it again!. A heart pounding race against time. Set in modern day Berlin with story line that starts in East Germany. This story will keep you turning pages.

Almost gave up. Took a while for me to enjoy, very information and description heavy. But 3/4 through, the ride picked up. Very good overall, I would recommend!

Blood lines. I’m an avid reader of spy novels, this book was excellent. I was captivated from the moment I started reading. It did not read like you typical spy mystery, it had a different energy. I didn’t want to put it down, yet I didn’t want it to end!
