didn’t really feel like juliette. this wasn’t really juliettes story, it was more of kenjis. I love kenji, but I want to hear some stuff from juliette, too. it got a little repetitive also, and it felt like the same events in the other books, where she gets captured but escapes. it’s a happy ending, but wait. another crisis. that’s happened in the series at least three times, and it happened again in imagine me. there weren’t that many warnette scenes, either, which is the reason most people even like this series. the stars present are for the two warnette scenes and kenji and nazeera.

review. a perfect way to end it! i don’t even want to read the most recent one that came out, ending it on a happy note!!

Love this series. The whole series is one of the best

so freaking good. holy crap a must read

I love it! ❤️❤️. It was amazing, just like the rest of the series. It felt a bit like a repeat of the book before it however. She loses her memory, her friends have to save her, she struggles throughout the book to regain her memory and in the very end she is successful. I hope that the next one has a new storyline!

A GREAT ending to a FABULOUS series!!. Loved, loved, loved this series!!!! And I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Warner!!! Such a great ending to a fantastic series!! I loved being in Juliette/Ella’s head, and I ALWAYS love being in Kenji’s head...he is sooo funny! Kenji and Warner arguments had me laughing out loud!!! I just wish there were more chapters in Warner’s head. The action was really exciting and suspenseful in this one. And the ROMANCE... Oh. My. God. THE ROMANCE!!!!!!!! I love Warner & Juliette. They will always be one of my favorite book couples and Warner my favorite book boyfriend!!!!!

AMAZING. I hadn’t read in 1 year before I picked up the series. In my opinion this is the best series I’ve ever read and will always recommend it. I loved how the first 3 (i think)books have chapters then the last 3 bounce between the povs of Juliette/Ella, Aaron Warner, and kanji. I liked how the characters were played out. I loved the stubbornness and funniness of Kenji, How emotional and sensitive Juliette/Ella is, then the fact that Aaron hates everyone and everything but has a total soft spot for Juliette/Ella. The back story of every character was very detailed and complex but simple enough to understand. I ALWAYS loved being in kenjis POV he is just so funny! The friendship between him and Juliette/Ella and the arguments between him and Warner. At the very beginning of the series it made me hate Warner for how he treated everyone, but then his backstory was explained further of his childhood and his relationship with his father. I loved the up’s and downs of Juliette and Aaron. I loved the humor and romance. My emotions were played with I would get mad every time I finished a book because I didn’t have the next one (like 20 minutes later I would be at the counter paying for the book.) I read the whole series within a week. Now every single time I think about the series I cry. I started rereading the series within 2 pages of the first pages I would be crying. I will always love this series and I don’t know if I will take hate for the series . I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE SERIES JUST READ IT

Mafi is a world-building genius. A thoroughly satisfying ending to a series that has swept me away completely. These books could only be described as criminally underrated. Masterfully combining romance, an epic journey of self-discovery, and a unique study of humanity as a whole.

Amazing!. This book is a perfect ending to wrap up this whole significant series! Definitely one of my favorite series of all times! I would totally recommend this to anyone I cross paths with.

Absolutely Amazing!. I think this was a great conclusion to the series! I wasn’t able to put it down! Though I would have enjoyed knowing what happened between Kenji and Nazeera, it was great! 10/10

Props.. I’ve held this series very near to my heart for the past 6 years. It has been an absolute overwhelming rollercoaster of emotion and I’ve enjoyed every moment. I do agree that this final book had a few holes( we would have DIED to be a part of the wedding scene). I applaud Tahereh for the courage to continue to not only pursue this phenomenon, but to share this with so many. I can’t imagine holding the fate of such strong and rounded characters in my hands. Hats off to you Ma’am.

Shatter Me series. Literally the best book series EVER!

The Ending😑. So first of it wasn’t like anything expected. I imagined it would be waaaay more emotional than it was. Like when Warner found Juliette with her memory gone, I certainly was hoping for a sad and difficult attempt to regain her memory from Warner’s point of view. Or at least something I could cry with. There were so many holes and unexplained matters like what happened to the rest of supreme commanders or their kids. What happened to kenji and Nazeera. Or the thing about kenji destroying Ella’s dress if it was important why didn’t the book explained more if it wasn’t why bother bring it up at all?! What happened to the reestablishment? Did earth came back to the way it was? What is Juliette’s position right now? Is she the leader of the new government their building or is she back to being a commoner? And what happened to the wedding scene I’m sure all of were waiting for it desperately? An entire awesome series shouldn’t end with a laugh and a dog!!! It should end with a romantic wedding kiss

Favorite book series ever!. I was so excited to read this book. I have been eating for almost a year to read it. The book was great and the ending was perfect and so sweet. I am just sad the series came to an end. I would have loved for the series to keep going, but I guess all good things must eventually come to an end.

Beautiful Ending!. After having read the other 5 books in less than a week, I was so excited to read the final book. The writing was brilliant, as usual, and it was an amazing ending to an amazing series. *SPOILER below* One thing that I wish was different was the we saw the wedding and the dress, rather than just hearing about how Kenji destroyed the dress. I also wish we could’ve seen more of what happened after they left the burning building, such as what happened with the other supreme commanders, how the people reacted to Ella/Juliette, how they managed to take over the Reestablishment, etc. But I loved this book so much!!!!!!!

disappointed:(. Before I get into my disappointments with this book, let's start with the few good things that occurred in Imagine Me. I loved: ~The WRITING (Tahereh Mafi always outdoes herself) ~Warner & Kenji's relationship ~Kenji's lighthearted jokes in the midst of everything going on ~The constant teasing exchanged between Winston/Brendan/Kenji ~Adam turning himself & James into the Restablishment (it was the one moment in the book that got me super riled up) Now I shall begin writing the many aspects of the book I disliked. To begin, what was that plot? It's almost like Tahereh wrote Imagine Me using an extremely vague outline from an earlier book in the series. I was preparing myself for an emotional & intricate plot, however it was very similar to Ignite Me. All their plans in Imagine Me worked out flawlessly, & if they didn't, the characters found an easy loophole (e.g. When Kenji, Warner, & Nazeera were sneaking out of the plane.)Usually before I read/finish a book, I imagine the perfect ending, with all the characters I want still alive, & everything ending perfectly. When I thought of Imagine Me even before reading, I hoped this would be the outcome. I find that the best last books in series' usually don't end the way we hope them to. Also, why did Warner only have like three povs? Tahereh usually writes a lot about the characters emotions in her books, & clearly Warner was going through a lot. It would have been amazing to get some insight on how Warner was feeling about everything. Adam GAVE his powers to the Restablishment, and you mean to tell me they didn't play a single role in the plot? Excuse me....WHAT? His powers were to STEAL other people's ABILITIES. I'd imagine Anderson would want to manifest those abilities in himself. I understand Max wasn't nearly as skilled as Evie was then it came to working with abilities, but Anderson having that power would have called for a much more interesting plot. The Restablishment would have an advantage for sure! When Nazeera, Kenji, & Warner made it to Oceania, it was FAR too easy for them to find Juliette & leave. We don't even know if Anderson died! The Epilogue's events occurred only two weeks after the infiltration, so who knows? Anderson could very much still be around. I don't particularly enjoy how Tahereh went about writing Emmaline in this book. After Emmaline went into Juliette's mind, everything fell apart more or less for a substantial amount of time in the book, resulting in less content about Juliette. After all Juliette went through with Emmaline literally living in her mind, EMMALINE didn't even end up dying there. I do think Emmaline dying was necessary for the plot, but I feel almost sad that there wasn't much of a resolution with her & Juliette, which I guess was to be expected. Also, I felt a major sense of deja vu when Juliette found Emmaline's tank. The book left some major plot holes & lacked many explanations for certain things. After Juliette woke up from unconsciousness, she eyed a drawer for a tremendously long time, feeling almost attracted to it in some way. When she was about to open it, Max completely stopped her. We NEVER found out what was in the box, which honestly has been bothering me a considerable amount of time. We didn't even get much insight on what became of the earth! I think there was a slight reference to the atmosphere in the epilogue, but it was quite minimal considering a major part of the book revolved around that issue. Also, what became of the government? I'm honestly disappointed that so many vital parts of the story weren't given a proper conclusion. A lot of the characters personalities felt off to me. The only person that has felt consistent throughout the entire series has been Kenji for me. Clearly, he's had some ups & downs, but overall his character development was realistically good. Throughout the series up until now, I've really liked Warner. I thought after the last book he was beginning to work better together with everyone else, & care about other people rather than Juliette. This book bothered me; he resorted RIGHT back to his original self. I understand he went through a lot, but I think by that point Warner should have felt at the very least a bit more connected to Kenji. Don't get me started on Juliette. I understand that she was low-key possessed by her sister and brainwashed, but I would've liked to see Juliette and Warner work together to destroy the Restablishment. I felt like that was more of the ending it deserved. Okay, finally let's talk about the Epilogue. I did not like it. I didn't feel a rush of satisfaction as I read it. It felt more like a very abrupt piece of the Epilogue, almost like Tahereh had a deadline for the book the next day. We finally got a Warner pov. Yay. I honestly don't think his pov was written as well as it could have been in full honesty. There should have been some sappy lines like "Finally. After everything. After the world's greed of pulling us apart drifted away to dust, I'm watching her. Walking down the aisle." Basically something along the lines of that but written 10x better. The Epilogue left MUCH to be desired. We didn't even see Kenji & Nazeera together! We didn't get the wedding scene! AGH. After finishing the novel, I hadn't shed a single tear, which is NOT normal for me. Overall, I would only recommend reading Shatter Me to someone eager for a somewhat roughly executed resolution of the series. I personally would stop reading the novel after Ignite Me & be done. I loved the other books in the series, this one was just not it. I'm sorry Tahereh. You are literally so talented, this book personally just wasn't my fave. <3

bests series. literally the best series I have ever read, I love it! It is something I am most definitely going to reread. Personally, the ending was beautiful, and even though there is still one more book to read (believe me) I am very sad that it is over.

Conflicted. Honestly, the ending was disappointing. Like other readers, I was dying for the wedding scene and the epilogue was very vague. Why include the part of the dress getting destroyed if we’re not even going to get to read about her wearing it. I also thought the book was very repetitive. She gets captured, she escapes. She loses her memory, she gains it back. All these events had already happened in the other books. Another event that bugged me was Juliette’s relationship with Emmaline. Why introduce Juliette’s long lost sister and then only include her at the end of the book WHERE SHE DIES! The whole conclusion just felt rushed. I had so many questions that I would have loved to have answered, but overall the thing that kept me reading this book was Juliette’s relationship with Warner and Kenji. Their relationships are what everyone would dream of having. All and all, I was disappointed with how it was written but LOVED the characters. Would definitely read the rest of the books again, but I’m not feeling this one.

BEST SERIES EVER. I have been waiting for this book to come out for what feels like forever and I am so stinking excited!!!

The. Perfect. Ending.. I’ve been invested in this series since it first came out when I was about 11. I’m now almost 19. The story has stayed near and dear to my heart the whole way through. I’m so grateful to have been able to follow along with Juliette’s (Ella’s) story. I’ve become so attached to the characters, especially Juliette, that it was hard to say goodbye. But this ending was truly so perfect and satisfying. Thank you, Tahereh, for creating such an incredible, whirlwind of emotions storyline that I will cherish- and reread millions of times- forever.

Amazing. outstanding book and author!

SOOOO GOOD!. This book was fantastic! I loved the characters who narrated and the ending chapter from Warner’s perspective! It was romantic, violent (only a little), and it always made me read more! I adored it!
