About the author
Helen Fields studied law at the University of East Anglia, then went on to the Inns of Court School of Law in London. After completing her pupillage, she joined chambers in Middle Temple where she practised criminal and family law for thirteen years. After her second child was born, Helen left the Bar.
Together with her husband David, she runs a film production company, acting as script writer and producer. Perfect Remains is set in Scotland, where Helen feels most at one with the world. Helen and her husband now live in Los Angeles with their three children and two dogs.

Perfect kill. Another great read
Good read. Good read but the ending was a let down. I guess it tied up all the loose ends but a happily ever after ending isn’t my thing really. I needed a cliff hanger or a twist that I hadn’t seen coming.
Perfect Kill. Unusual plot, this book sees Ava and Callanach working on opposite sides of The Channel, he on secondment to Interpol and she in Scotland. What starts as the Murder of a small town crook, soon escalates into a complex plot, of abduction, people trafficking and it’s seedy underbelly and much more. Great read.
Best book yet...,. Ive read all of helens books. This is the best so far. Loved it, couldnt put it down.

Very dark. Wow! This was a dark and gruesome tale. There were times when I wanted to jump into the book and strangle a few people. Great writing, and a well developed plot. I was kept engaged the whole time and there were a number of adrenaline spikes. Still love the major and secondary characters. Great read.
