Action as usual. Another non stop action adventure from Jack Mars. For this one, a reader would benefit from having read earlier books to be clued into references to the past. I rate it “okay plus”.

It was great!. It suspenseful, exiting, and nerve-racking. I would definitely recommend

You can do better. Jack Mars is great author and had to know this was not very good work.

Primary Duty: the forcing of Luke Stone. I been waiting for this book of the continuing adventures of Luke Stone, the action pack of this book as the other books in the Luke Stone series kept me interested and wanting to read more. Jack Mars has not disappointed me yet. Kevin

Can’t put it down Action. This is a great challenge for Luke Stone. Jack Mars paints a real life picture that makes the reader feel like they are right in the action. I could not put the book down. I felt like I had to keep reading to make sure the potential victims stayed safe.

Sad Stereotypes. I, and millions of other Americans, lived through 9/11 and the War on Terror that followed and at no point did “19 conservative states” ban interstate travel by Muslims or North Africans or, anything of the sort. It’s unrealistic, and just a perpetuation of the Stupid, Racist, Fat, Southerner™️ stereotype that, in an era of ultimate political correctness, is still the only racist trope allowed in media. Mars has been very enjoyable to read, but the gradual deification of ultra-liberal Dixon as President, Ed Newsome’s increasing racialization and now this ham-handed storyline have reduced his work to yet more woke nonsense. Seems the wrong genre to sell lefty SJW fantasies, but there you have it.

Explosive!. The first 9 chapters set the stage then Primary Duty becomes another fast-paced, action-packed thriller that you can’t put down!! Luke & Ed race against time between Germany, Morocco, France and England to thwart a terrorist plot designed to wreak havoc in London. I thoroughly enjoyed this latest installment in The Forging of Luke Stone series!!

Gripping, Tense, action packed thriller.. Another well crafted, contemporary, action thriller from a master of the genre. Our heroes, Luke Stone and Ed Newsam are in Europe relaxing with their wives and young children engaged in a relationship building exercise with their European Counterparts when a high profile Supreme Court Judge who is visiting France and Spain is kidnapped a week before a crucial judicial vote. Against a background of Washington politics Don Morris, Director of the FBI Special Response Team invokes their help to find and free the Judge. The ensuing operation is an intense battle of wits, detective skills and battle for survival as they pursue a lead across Europe. While this is happening the Eurostar is hijacked by terrorists and in his dying breaths one of the group tells Luke that the Judge is on board and that the train has C4 explosives on board making it a huge high speed bomb! The tension and suspense are gripping and hold the attention to the very last page.

Step to far. Predictable out come via rather unrealistic process. Not a cliff hanger, but worthy read.
