The Sweet Talker. It was a cutesy book. I will give it 4 1/2 stars. Good subject, good main characters and it ended well. The only negative was some of the subject matter was left hanging. The author presented a couple of problems, but never discussed it further.

Great start to the series. What a way to start a series! Way to go Gina! Taking a quote from this series opener- “The best surprises in life are the ones you don’t see coming, the ones you don’t wait around for, the ones that happen with those who matter most” Noah & Indy took each other by surprise in so many ways but that was half the fun ! I Loved these two, and how intense their casual connection was! The rest of the characters were the icing on cake and it makes you excited about their potential stories but in the end there’s one thing that you should know, never say never,because the universe will decide that you will be tested on the fact that you should never say never when it comes to love. 5 sparkling surprise stars!

Great series beginning!. Indy is a book smart college professor who grows up with hockey all around her. Noah is a hockey player with a troubled family life. They meet- instant attraction and get together. The author could have described their bedroom scenes better, lots of euphemisms not much detail. Otherwise I enjoyed Noah and Indy’s journey navigating their non relationship and subsequent pregnancy.

Noah and Indy for the win!. Noah and Indy for the win! I love this new hockey romance series by Gina Azzi! If you love sweet and sexy sports romances, you don’t want to miss this book. Noah and Indy’s friends-with-benefits arrangement quickly turns more complicated when they catch feelings…and end up pregnant. Throw in some hot hockey players, witty side characters, and irresistible chemistry, and I devoured The Sweet Talker. This is the perfect book to start a new series and I can’t wait for Claire and Easton’s story!

A new hockey team to love!. A new series by Gina Azzi?!? Sign me up and I am so glad I did! This is the first book in a new series based on the fictional Boston Hawks hockey team.   This is the story of Noah and Indiana.  Indiana is a gal with a plan. She has landed her dream job, moved to a new city and is looking for a fresh start. Her heart was broken in the past and she is even more focused on her career than anything else. I admire how she is trying hard to break out of the all work and no play bubble she finds herself in. Noah is a hockey player, he is best friends with Indiana's cousin and has grown up around Indiana's family.  Her family is the soft place for him and his brother to fall. When he sees Indiana again after a long time, well the sparks start flying. I loved how they both seemed to be OK with the relationship they started with, but we know that it's gonna be more. I like how Indy sets Noah back on his heels quite a few times with her no nonsense attitude.  Add a surprise pregnancy to the mix and you get a fantastic story with sweetness and just a touch of angst. The story just flows from the pages and it was hard to put down once I started. I am so excited to see the next stories in this series!

The Sweet Talker. Sweet, sexy, and romantic even though Noah tries not to be. It’s also about family and love that always gets you through! You will enjoy this heartwarming love story !

The love and chemistry was perfect. I love that this felt like a complete planned, well thought out book. It didn’t feel like a known plot or change the names copy. The characters were lovely and flawed and the problems real. Well done. Loved it enough to happily buy the next book - a very rare choice for me.

Great book!. I really enjoyed ‘Sweet Talker’! If your looking for a light-hearted and (hot) book, this is the one. I liked how the author has portrayed the characters and the story line. The book flowed easily and it was very easy to follow. Would definitely recommend!

Ticked all books. This is the first book I have read by Gina Azzi but it certainly won’t be the last because I loved everything about Indy and Noah’s story, and The Sweet Talker ( Boston Hawks Hockey #1) ticked all my boxes. Hockey romance is one of my favourite genres and I’m excited for the rest of this series, I also certainly need to check out other works by this very talented author. Indy has recently moved to Boston to take up a job as a College professor, she comes from a close knit family but she is the odd girl on preferring books to hockey. Her father is hockey royalty and her cousin Austin plays for the Boston Hawks along side his best friend Noah who also grew up with Indy. Indy has certainly grown up since Noah saw her last and he suddenly finds himself attracted to this stunning woman who should be off limits for so many reasons....... A few drinks turn into a night of passion but will one night be enough for this couple and will Indy be prepared to have a casual relationship with the man she suddenly realises has become more than a friend and certainly more than a booty call...... This couple are adorable together, the chemistry is sizzling and the banter is witty but it’s the emotions and the family loyalty that took this book to another level for me. I fell hard and fast for Noah even when he was trying to do the right thing by letting Indy go, I still adored him, I also loved the loyalty and compassion he has for his brother East and his teammates. I adored all the characters in this book and I can’t wait for book 2 . I guess all I need to say is please one click this gem.

Entertaining. Gina Azzi is a relatively new author to me and I have no idea why that is the case. The Sweet Talker was an entertaining book that I was fully invested in from the start. Agreeing to go out with her cousin Claire, Indy has no idea how that one decision will change her life and not only her life, but that of Noah, a player for the Boston Hawks hockey team. Indy has been focused on her career as a college professor for a long time and has had little or no time for socializing. All that changes when she and Claire attend a party with Claire's brother where she meets his teammates from the Boston Hawks. When Claire has to leave early, Noah offers to take Indy home and before you know it they have a passionate encounter. The chemistry between Indy and Noah is intense and instead of diminishing it seems to increase the more they are around one another. When Noah suggests that they enter into a “friends with benefits” arrangement, Indy agrees. However night’s of passion can cause complications and Indy soon finds out how complicated her life is about to become. What will happen when secrets are revealed? Will it bring Indy and Noah closer together or rip them apart? One click and find out.

A sweet romance. Despite knowing the premise of the book - that Noah gets Indie pregnant during a ‘casual’ friends with benefits relationship - I was hooked. I wanted to read until I was done and so I did in a day. I like the style of writing and found the characters likeable if not relatable all the time.
