Love for Jordan and Jax. Jax a well known wedding dress designer who meets Jordan Lawler a soon to be bride for a dress consultation. The moment they look at each other, they both feel like they are connected to one another. They go months without seeing each other until she an invited guest to his brother wedding. They talk spend a little time together dancing. Jordan’s fiancé continued to be a no show, but she started feeling alive. Of course wedding cancel. Jordan had a missing sister and she had always felt she was alive and she was, Jax hired a Private Investigator, who found her. Her story to come soon.

Didn’t want to put it down. Well it was pure torcher reading half this book and then having to put it down because life happens. I loved every moment of this book with tears of laughter, sadness and joy. This was well written and I’ve loved every book in all the series. Thank you Melissa for bringing these stories to life.

Jax is swoon-worthy. How can anyone not love Jax Braden? He's in love with Jordan, but she is with someone else. And he would never interfere in someone's relationship. He is so swoon-worthy. Goodness. Doing all of the "groom" tasks for the wedding without telling her that her fiance is a douche. Just spending as much time with her as he can. Is it wrong of him? Probably. But she needs a friend and that is exactly what he is being. I'll be honest and say I was not impressed with Jordan. She was being taken advantage of and used by her fiance. I felt like she allowed him the freedom to do that and made excuses for him. It frustrated me from a woman's perspective. I pride myself on women being intuitive and sensing when something is not right. A few notes - I loved those old ladies where Jordan works. They are a freaking hoot. I loved the "we're old, not dead" mentality. Good for them for being who they are. And Jilly is going to get hers and soon I hope. Goodness, she needs a man.

Jax ❤️ Jordan. Every Melissa Foster story is unique and dives a little deeper into what is or isn’t perceived as socially acceptable. This story has a very different beginning, but still leads to a happily ever after. Jax falls for Jordan the first time they meet. Unfortunately she is a client and is asking him to design her wedding gown. Jordan is keeping her heart safe and is staying with someone who has always been there for her, until she learns more about him. The signs of hope are all around us. Jax helps Jordan reach for her dreams and surrounds her with hope and signs of hope daily. Thank you, Melissa Foster, for the touching story of hope and love.

Couldn’t Put it Down!. When I want to read a romance with angst, excitement and real characters I always grab this author's books. I feel like I personally know her characters and love following the members of each family through their story. You will not be able to put this one down, Jax and Jordan's story will tug at all your emotions. Highly recommend this one!

Finding the perfect love. Jordan and Jax meet for him to design her gown. Through the process of him designing the gown, they form a bond and spend time talking. While they know they shouldn’t be spending time together, Jax still turns on the charm! I loved that she finds she doesn’t need to settle. And that they find their way to each other! Definitely a must read!

Amazing! Loved Jax and Jordan!. Melissa Foster totally left me wanting more of these characters. This might be one of her best books yet. Jax and Jordan are amazing. Their coming together is respectful and thrilling. Melissa Foster writes with heart, hilarity, and passion. Her characters make me feel as if they are real people as I am transported into their world. Jordan has had to deal with so many challenges in her life. The additional trauma that Jordan experienced with her family had me on edge and in tears. What a wonderfully written 5 star read. Looking forward to more.

Full of emotions. Jax and Jordan really are the perfect match. Too bad she’s engaged to someone else…and he’s designing her wedding gown. I mean, can this happen anywhere other than between the pages of a romance novel? I spent much of the book wondering if Jax was an eternal optimist or if he was delusional. Jordan was set on marrying old what’s his name. Even with the sparks flying between her and Jax, she still held onto her plan to marry a man we didn’t love or was even compatible with. While I loved their chemistry, banter and budding friendship, I wondered if Jax specifically would get his heart broken. I honestly wasn’t that worried about Jordan. Harsh, but true. While there’s no physical “cheating”, there was still feelings that were allowed to run between these two. Not gonna lie, I was skeptical. But I shouldn’t have been, because the tough stuff wasn’t swept under the rug and ignored. The author handled it in a thoughtful and honest way. Which made me love the characters and the storyline even more. Shame on me for even entertaining a moment of doubt. And kudos to Melissa Foster for yet another complex and loving book.

Loyalty and Support Above All Else. I love the strong, confident, and caring nature of Jax. He is confident in himself, knows what he wants, and isn’t afraid of a little hard work to get to his goals. Jordan reminds me of myself. Wanting to make everyone happy and forgetting that sometimes, you need to put yourself first. I love her tenacity and determination. I love that she never gave up on what she knew in her core to be true and that she was able to prove to the world that she was deserving of all the happiness. The relationship between Jax and Jordan was perfectly written. I love that they support each other and that they both know they can rely on each other. I thought this book was beautifully written. Every character brought meaning to the book and every relationship was truly there for a purpose. Fingers crossed for a spin-off for Jordan’s sister

Love this book!. As always, Melissa Foster does not disappoint! Jax and Jordan are meant to be and the journey for each is something worth reading. Detail and attention to everything is what Foster does best and this book is no exception! A definite 5 stars for another great read! <3

Such a strong loving story. It’s time for another amazing romance book alert. Melissa has a new book out and you know how much I love her books. So of course I’m gonna share it with you! It’s called Then came love and it follows Jax and Jordan’s story. Jax and Jordan story is a love finds you at the most inopportune moments type of story. Jordan ,a sweet woman who lost her family, is engaged and meets with Jax a brilliant famous wedding dress designer to design her dress. This should be a normal wedding thing to do but when sparks fly Jordan is left wondering what is wrong with her. Can she be friends and work with Jax to get her dress made or should she steer clear and buy a generic off the rack dress? Jordan is not alone in these sparks; Jax felt them too and hasn’t gotten her off his mind since but she’s marrying someone else. Can he show her how love is meant to be? I definitely recommend this book. As usual I was hooked from the first chapter. They are so emotionally tied together it makes me smile. I had tears of joy and sadness in the last chapter. I was sad the book ended so fast and I loved the story but wanted more. I want proposal, and more on Sully. I honestly can’t believe I got a year to wait to read Sully’s story but Melissa definitely reeled me in and left me longing for more in a good way. You can thrive and grow and spread your wings. Friends, family, partners, lovers. It’s what a truly great life is all about and this book has it in spades.

Wow. Just wow.. I have been waiting for Jax’s story. And this book more than delivered! Jordan and he were meant to be together, but there was Todd. Todd who I despised before even “meeting” him because he tried to dim Jordan for his own gains. Jax wanted to help her light shine, and it made me love him even more! Such a great book!

Simply the best. Jax Braden and Jordan Lawler’s story was very different to what I was expecting but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t a fantastic read because this book may have taken me by surprise but it was still a beautifully written journey that I will certainly read again and again. Wedding designer Jax is designing Jordan’s dress and from the moment they meet sparks fly but she has a wedding to plan and that means lines are drawn and those lines shouldn’t be be crossed. The more time this couple spend time together and as Jordan’s fiancé decides he has no interest in the wedding plans and his work is more important, it soon becomes obvious this couple should be more than just friends but will Jordan walk away from her fiancé and her wedding even when she knows she deserves better than he is offering and more importantly will she find true happiness with Jax. I loved this book, I was captivated from the first few pages and there was no putting down until the final word had been read, I fell hard and fast for the swoon worthy Jax and I really felt for Jordan as she tried to sort her life out but it was the integrity and love that Jax showed throughout this gem that took this story to another level.

Loved it. This book appeared to be a bit of a departure form what I come to expect from Melissa Foster. Jax Braden is designing a wedding dress for Jordan Lawler and although their is chemistry between them neither of them cross the line. As I have come to expect from Melissa Foster the story was well written with characters whose story you cannot help but be drawn to. However Jordan’s relationship is not as strong as she would like and she realizes that things need to change. I loved how supportive Jax was, always willing to listen and be there to support Jordan no matter what. A man with integrity who I fell for hard and fast. I love stories set in small towns and for me Oak Falls, Virginia sounds like a wonderful town to escape too. I loved the push and pull dynamic of their relationship and it was entertaining to watch it play out.

Fantastic Book. Fantastic read, heart wrenching yet uplifting story with love mixed in. Jax fell for Jordan at first meet when she came in to have her wedding dress designed. He’s no home wrecker but her really wants her, does he get what he wants? Jordan is beyond confused with what she wants; she loves her life but misses her deceased parents and younger sister who went missing after a car wreck. With a fiancé in New York and her life Maryland what will she do? Every since meeting Jax and even before she’s been having second thoughts about Todd. Todd doesn’t listen to her like Jax does, she’s been able to tell Jax things she hasn’t told Todd. Does she continue on with the wedding and be second behind Todd’s career or does she choose herself? Jax pulls out all the stops to show her what love really looks like. He believes in her, listens to her and encourages her. He hires a PI to help investigate her missing sisters case. Get pulled along while they fall in love and start to build a relationship. Will they find her younger sister Casey. Melissa Foster delivers a beyond 5-Star book again. Can’t wait to read the next one.

The back and forth chatter between THEN CAME LOVE is a story of betrayal and loss, family and friendships, relationships, acceptance, moving forward and love. The premise is emotional and intense; the romance is seductive; the characters are charismatic and determined. Melissa Foster writes wonderful stories of romance and love.
