1st to Die Book Reviews
1st to Die by James Patterson Book Summary
Four crime-solving friends face off against a killer in San Francisco in the Women's Murder Club novel that started James Patterson's thrilling series.
Each one holds a piece of the puzzle: Lindsay Boxer is a homicide inspector in the San Francisco Police Department, Claire Washburn is a medical examiner, Jill Bernhardt is an assistant D.A., and Cindy Thomas just started working the crime desk of the San Francisco Chronicle.
But the usual procedures aren't bringing them any closer to stopping the killings. So these women form a Women's Murder Club to collaborate outside the box and pursue the case by sidestepping their bosses and giving each other a hand. The four women develop intense bonds as they pursue a killer whose crimes have stunned an entire city. Working together, they track down the most terrifying and unexpected killer they have ever encountered--before a shocking conclusion in which everything they knew turns out to be devastatingly wrong.
Full of the breathtaking drama and unforgettable emotions for which James Patterson is famous, 1st to Die is the start of the #1 New York Times bestselling series of crime thrillers.

1st to die. This book is so awesome. I would never have thought in a million years have read a book like this. I just love books with a twist & suspenseful ending. It's just great.
1st To Die. It would have been a great book if not for the terrible ending. Ugh.
Great plot twist - easy enjoyable read. Easily written and fun to read. The plot twists and changes and keeps you wanting to turn the page. Not too technical but still very lively and authentic. Very interested in reading his other books too! If you like murder mystery and detectives discovering who did it, you will throughly enjoy this book!
Awesome. I Love It!!!!

1st to Die. Another engaging, enigmatic thriller by Patterson. Nothing short of a suspenseful page turner. A must-read, spellbinding mystery written by one of the all-time bests. If you're not already a Patterson fan, be prepared to become one after you read 1st to Die.
Middle school. I love it
Great book. This book was so good and hard to put down. I read it every chance I got. It was thrilling all the way to the end and hard to predict how it would turn out.
Nah. This isn't my favorite genre, so I don't think it's fair to say very much. But this felt like watching a story written for TV. Nothing special about it.
A MUST READ!. Twists and turns oh my!!! One of the best books I have ever read!
1st To Die. I enjoyed reading this one as much the second time as the first. Love all the murder club books.
Great read!. A+
Disappointing. Fairly straight forward from the beginning who committed the murders. A twist finally came late in the book- only to be untwisted in the Epilogue back to the obvious. Really felt like I wasted good reading time on the book.
One of the first books I have every read. It's fantastic!. My title is all I have to say about the book. James Patterson has inspired my young adult life and he still continues to inspire my adult life. With 1st to Die. Which is a very gripping mystery/thriller. With lots of turns ands twists. Fantastic book! A must read.
1st to Die.... Couldn't put it down.... As usual with James Patterson's books, I could not put this book down.... I thought I knew the ending twice and both times I was wrong....that makes a great mystery!!!
Great Book!!!!. This book is intense!!! Keeps you thinking & wondering! I will absolutely read the rest of The Women's Murder Club books! I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!!!
Loved it!. James is amazing!!!!
