A perfect book about studio Beatles. This is, by far, the best book written about the Beatles in the studio at the height of their powers. Highly recommend.

The Beatles… according to Geoff Emerick.. This book has caught some flack for the author’s loose recollections of his time with the Beatles. It’s clear from his statements after it’s release that he didn’t fact check himself. But… autobiography. And his opinions are more nuanced than his critics give him credit for. It’s definitely worth reading for Beatles fans, even with the required grain of salt. And it’s a treasure trove of information for audio engineers. Highly recommended.

A great hook !!!. This book by far, is one of the greatest behind the scenes look at the Fab Four. It allows us the pleasure of seeing behind the curtain and behold how the music was made. Read this book!!!

Greatest Beatle Book Ever ?. As a rabid Beatle fan since 1963 and as someone who has been in the music and recording world for almost as long, I can say that this account of Geoff Emerick’s memories of his association with history’s greatest band of the rock era was the most satisfying of any I’ve read. The honesty as well as seemingly photographic ability to recall conversations and remember details most of the world has never known makes Here, There And Everywhere such a brilliant read. For those involved in the technical end of making music, there is plenty to learn from. For those of us who compose music, there’s an endless amount of recollections related to the creative part of how pop’s greatest songwriters went about their songwriting, and the road they took from beginning to end of each gem they gave us. For Beatle fans who only want the fluff and positive story, this might be a hard read for some. Mr. Emerick doesn’t hold back any of his feelings he had about our idols ( at certain times ) and that can be a bit hard to read..But, regardless of his choice to not hold anything back, this can only be a great thing if we’re looking to “ keep it real. “ Bottom line, read this book !

The best book on the Beatles. I’ve read pretty much everything published on the Beatles. All the others use conjecture and rely on interviewing those who were there. Well, Geoff Emerick was there. He wasn’t a mate, a groupie or a hanger on. So his views aren’t expressed based on who he liked. They are based on what he saw, what he heard, and what he experienced in the recording studio. This book was the most fascinating of all the books. I enjoyed re-reading chapters after listening to the album discussed to see if I could pick up on the slight imperfections in the process he discusses. You hear things you never would have picked up on without being told what to listen for. Just fascinating and easily the book I’ll read many times.

Here, There, and Everywhere. I am sad this book is over. During the time I read this, I felt like Geoff was sitting with me and telling me stories and tricks to recording good music. Now I have finished the book, I feel like my friend has gone away. I want him to come back and tell me more. Such a fascinating individual. Thank you Geoff for the music and most of all the stories.
