The Hollow by Jessica Verday Book Summary
When Abbey's best friend, Kristen, vanishes at the bridge near Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, everyone else is all too quick to accept that Kristen is dead…and rumors fly that her death was no accident. Abbey goes through the motions of mourning her best friend, but privately, she refuses to believe that Kristen is really gone. It only makes things worse that everyone now treats Abbey like either a freak show or a charity case. Luv dis book!!!!. This book was the best book I have ever read...but you definitely have to pay attention. If you do pay attention it will be AWSOME...if you don't, then I will be really confusing. READ IT!!!!
Well.... I read this series a year ago, and it was terrible. So terrible, in fact, that it caught in my mind (becoming a special source of irritation earlier this week, when it started nagging at me as I struggled to remember the name of the books) and probably impacted my life in a major way. 😐 So terrible that it was hilarious, but I find myself reaaaaaally wanting to read them again. I'm not sure what it says about me that I'm reminiscent of these books and now want to go through the whole thing again, especially considering that it wasn't until this book was almost over that it actually started going somewhere. Like for the first 300+ pages (possible 400?) it was pointless and kinda dull. I can't even remember how all those pages got filled if there was no plot. But. That third book was crazy. 😂 And the ending was really confusing to explain to someone else. I guess if you get far enough into this, it becomes intruiging in a really, really weird way. As far as writing style, I give Verday a D at best. I've tried to wade through a lot worse.
Boring :(. This book, I have to say, was a bit of a disappoint. It sounded like an exciting story, but in truth this book was very boring. Unfortunately I would not recommend this book. And I will not be reading the sequel. :(

LOVE.. this book is absolutely perfect! I'm honestly not a big reader, but my friend recommended this book so I gave it a shot & I couldn't put it down! I'm in 8th grade and when I come home from school I would be so excited to read this book! it has everything from mystery to sorrow to true love. this book would make me go into my own little world. love this book ❤ highly recommended .. can't wait to read the rest of the series ! 👍

Horrible. It was really boring and had not main topic/ plot.i do not recommend this book it was a waste of my money .oh and there was not any romance it. it was just terrible.

The best book ever. I have been in love with this book for over ten years now, I lost my physical copy a while back and have failed to find the trilogy in any bookstores (which is a tragedy in itself) I am forever grateful to Jessica for inspiring me to start writing again after reading the trilogy and fuelling a new passion to create perfumes! This book takes me away to a beautiful and whimsical place where I feel warm and at home, this book is amazing beyond words, I can not thank the author enough for writing this series<3
