Not Jude’s best effort. I’ve been a fan of Jude Devereaux’s novels for decades. Unfortunately, this story is light on romance, and heavy on solving a mystery/murder. The story felt like a mix of elements thrown in that don’t really go together very well. Try instead twin of ice, or any of her earlier works for a guaranteed good read.
Read me. If you like love stories with a murder mystery and ghosts in the mix read this book.
