Light for the dark world. I've read MANY books both literature and biographies. Few have the ability to TRULY paint a picture of the underworld, the ghetto. Trick's ability to educate while being painfully honest was at moments breath taking and awe inspiring. I'll NEVER look at my fellow hood kids as though they mean ill will against me. They, like Trick just want to come out of their hellish homes to vent and get fresh air. No book besides the Autobiography of Malcolm X, so truly captures and details the urban experience. I'm better for this purchase. -@itsjustsamuel

The real MIAMI. The book and Trick's painted a real visual of what life was like in the REAL MIAMI not the Miami the media wants you to focus on, I'm proud to say I grew up in this city and state and won't change it for the world

Go Trick!. If you know Trick Daddy's music then it will come to no surprise that this book is real and raw. I appreciate the no bs approach to this Novel and the fact that it sounded like Trick's voice. The music makes so much more sense now. Thank you for giving us a glimpse of the "other Miami" and calling for change. Good read, I definitely recommend it.

Great. This was one of the best books that I've ever read. It talks about the realities of growing up in impoverished black America but does not glorify the bad choices that were made. Great job Trick.
