I don't the 5 star reviews. This book was pretty bad. I was looking for a good romance novel and this one was on so many top 10 lists. I don't get it. The female is chubby and complains about it to the point of being annoying. She has bad fashion sense but can pick out great shoes. She's got to have a quirky trait so make her obsessed with Elvis. Give her a weird cat and no cooking ability. Seriously, what has she been eating this whole time if she can't cook? Ugh. It does have some some funny bits I wanted to like it, but when she referred to her love interest as a God for the 25th time I checked out. I guess it must be me.

Bet Me. Hands down Jennifer Crusie is the absolute best. Love her characters and stories. Not allowed to read her books in bed. I wake everyone up laughing

Really Funny. First book of hers I've read and I loved it! Laughed out loud several times a truly enjoyed the story. It is a must read...

Cute romance. Must read!!

Fantastic read - you won't be disappointed!. I haven't been reading ebooks long but I this was my 2nd book in less than 3 days! It was amazing. I loved the plot of this book. The main character is fabulous--hell, all the characters are fabulous! 😄 Get this book -- you won't be disappointed!

Disappointed. I’m about halfway through and bored. I probably won’t finish. At this point their interactions arent sensible or coherent or adult despite everyone being over 30. Author says “said” at every single line of dialogue. Not “protested”, “sighed”, “huffed”, “laughed” or literally any other word…just “said”. So it’s a constant “Cal said”, “Min said”, or my favorite “said with a chuckle”. What is going on here? Who taught her how to write? They should be fired. Also, I didn’t expect the feeder fetish. I don’t mind a “love yourself despite not being a size 4” message. But I really didn’t appreciate having someone’s kink be a part of a third person love story I’m supposed to relate to (which I thought I would since it’s a Childfree love story). I also REALLY hated the blow to skinny women when he referred to them as “a bag of hangers”. Really nasty comment, and I’m supposed to like this guy? I’ve never seen such an insult thrown at fat women in the books I’ve read, yet I’m supposed to accept this one since it’s against skinny women like me? Cant believe I fell for this recommendation and spent money on it.

Good read. This was a real page turner for me. I just had to know what was going to happen next. Very witty!

Love!. Crusie is one of my most favorite authors, and this book does not disappoint! Love the characters, and the fact that they can't help but be drawn to eachother. Also, who doesn't like a happy ending?

Excellent book, poor ebook. Bet Me is one of my favorite books. So funny and sweet! Sadly, the ebook version is riddled with typos that should have been corrected before it was issued for sale. I understand how it happens - when scanning in a print copy to make an e copy, sometimes things get weird. However, someone is supposed to proof-read and fix the problems before the final version is released. That did NOT happen here. Maybe the typos have been fixed - I don't know. They still exist in my copy from the early days of the iBooks store. It is unfortunate.

Bet Me. One of my all time favorites! Enjoyed it all three times I've read it!
