Bad blood review. Disturbing subject, but no one tells a story better than John Sandford. Virgil Flowers is one enjoyable detective. I always enjoy his relaxed attitude.

Would not recommend. Very punchy. Without depth. For such a highly praised book it felt like a terrible B rated movie.

Bad Blood. Excellent! That f@#&ing Flowers never disappoints!

Bad Blood. Fast paced and a real page turner. The characters were well thought out and perhaps that is one of the strong points. It made me really think about sex in our lives and how it relates to our own beliefs and how it plays out within our families.

Bad blood. I really enjoy this authors books. This one involves a rough topic but the book is very well written, the main characters great and the action toward the end is phenomenal. Clearly a page turner and well worth the read.

Love that #%?!* Flowers. Virgil manages to get himself into, and out of, some very strange Stuff again. He does it so well, you can't stop reading until you chigger it out! Excellent mystery for those who hate to figure it out before the end.

Bad Blood. Definitely a "guy" book, but it was fast moving, and the narrator was very good.

Awesome book. Never read a John Sandford till I read BadBlood. One of my favorite books and when ever I can I always recommend this one. Enjoyed the beginning and loved the ending. Awesomely written.

Another Winner. While there have been other popular crime/thriller series over the past 20 years, very few if any of the authors have been able to maintain both continuity and high quality writing. John Sandford is the consistent exception. Bad Blood continues the story of Virgil Flowers (who was skillful spun off from Lucas Davenport) while maintaining the unique Minnesota setting and characters from the very first of the "prey" novels. Except for one excessively dramatic gun battle which seemed a little too unrealistic, the entire book is filled with crystal clear images that seem to be as sharp and clear as the winter air. Highly recommend this book!

Not his best. An entertaining book and I am glad I read it but a tale without a twist or turn. Sandford has a likable hero in Virgil without all the domestic ties of Davenport and there Sandford has it right. But I want a more convoluted plot and more action. What action there is in this book is very well done, incidentally. Sandford has a good horse but needs to let him have his head and run. Sandford has done better.

Wow. Dark, but awesome action!

BAD BLOOD. This was truly a great read. The characters were well-developed, details connected in with previous books smoothly, and there were enough surprises to keep it interesting, without seeming contrived. I spent too much time, watching the page count go down, as I regrettably headed toward the end. The scary and sick details were selacious enough to be interesting, without sparking prurient curiosity. The story line flowed smoothly and logically, and the ending was not anti-climatic.

Suspenseful. I liked this book, but parts of it were just too graphic for me.

Not good.. Sorry, did not enjoy. The worst John Sanford book I've read.

Bad Blood. Great characters and fast moving.

More gross than entertaining...the end was better than the beginning. The bad guys were not clever at all. Flowers figured out stuff...but it was an unfair fight. The series of events that started everything was hard to swallow. Prefer his stories that have one bad guy who is smart enough to be a real challenge to catch. It was more heavy on the really sick graphic porn than usual.
