Hell Island. Great book! Couldn't put it down. Action-packed from start to finish!!!

Typical Reilly. For fans of Reilly this is hard to put down. Although short it certainly packs a punch and would be a good introduction to this author's all out action. Worth a read.

A brief thrill ride.. Having not experienced a 'Matthew Reilly', I thought I would use this as a taste test. An intense roller coaster from go to whoa! I will be back for more.

BOOM!!!. What a rush! As with all Matt's work, the worst part is getting to the end of the book and still being on an adrenalin rush with no more pages to turn. We want more scarecrow, more huntsman, even the black knight. Keep the books coming, they truly are a brilliant read. Every book is like a Jason Bourne movie in your imagination.

Disappointment DO NOT BUY!!. Super short. Expected something a little longer and more in-depth!! Not what I am use two from Matthew Riley :(

Quality short read. More than a short story but not a book, this was a great way to spend an afternoon though I would have preferred to know that it was only 80 pages when I bought it.

Short Novel. I'm sure that had got to be the shortest book I have ever read! Are the eBooks abbreviated? Very disappointing. Will now have to buy the hard copy to get the full story!

As expected.... I bought this having read all of his other novels, and I wasn't disappointed. No nonsense from this short story - just kicks off with a bang and doesn't stop until it's over. Awesome writing from an awesome author. C'mon Matt! Where's the next one!;)

Yeeesh. To all the people complaining this book is short.......it was mean to be short! This was a little something Matthew cooked up as a prize for a special contest, it was never meant to be a full on novel. If you think you have been ripped off(as I've seen a few of you say)your problem is with ITunes for their pricing and not Matthew for the length.

Very Short But OK Read. Wish I'd realised it was so short too, otherwise an ok read, little bit of fun fantasy and something different but not especially evolved writing, wouldn't pay $5.99 for it again but a couple of bux maybe.

Hell island. If I had known it was only 96 pages long I wouldn,t have bought it. I would had read one of his other books. They are all the same. Don,t waste your money on this book..

Awesome, so glad I read it... Finally.. I have three copies of this book on my bookshelf yet it took buying it a fourth time on iTunes to actually read it. What always stopped me was the thinness of the book. I knew it was a novella and being that I'm a huge fan of Matthew Reilly's books I knew I would just start enjoying it and it would end and I'd be disappointed. So I held off. Boy was I wrong. Yes it is short and when it ended I wanted more. But am I disappointed? Hell no! What a fast paced ride. Enough to fill in a short flight or a long wait at the dentist. So if you've read the complaints from people who spent $X on a single digital copy just think of me. I have now purchased this boom four times and I'm more than happy with paying that for the story lol.

Great fun. A snappy read for a short flight or trip to and from work. Highly recommended if you want a very very short read.

Disgrace. I'd have to say it is the most predictable, ridiculous nonsense I've read for a while. Yes, it's short. That is fine. But it still attempts to cram in a full novel's worth. Absurd.

Good story. Good story. Pity the digital translation lost the quality of the printed images. They are illegible even when changed to graphics mode on the iPad.

Matthew Reilly is a Genius. This novella is amazing. I cannot get enough of the Scarecrow. Start reading this and you will never stop.

Unfinished. As exciting a read this short novel is, it still seems like a great intro into another story. Either the back story or better yet a second one where scarecrow stops the next step. Either way another Reilly 'boys own adventure'.

Scarecrow. Have read all Scarecrow series, I am a hell secret ice cold fan of Scarecrow, luv the Renard "Fox" tie in way cool.

Hell Island. Pretty good short book. Very much in the Clive Cussler (Dirk Pitt) and Lee Childs (Jack Reacher) mold. Only takes an hour or so to read. I will read more Matthew Reilly.

Loved it!. I am a huge Matthew Reilly fan and this short story did not disappoint. Full of Matthew's usual hardcore action, heart and adventure - with a typical off hand Reilly twist that we have come to expect. Non Reilly fans may not take to it, but I highly recommend this short story to anyone who would like to read something intelligent, fun and action packed.

Sensational. In typical Reilly form, this short story is fast paced action right to the ultimate end. It was a great read that I could't put down. Great reading that only takes a couple of hours.

Short but Sweet. While a shorter book for Matthew it's certainly just as every bit thrilling and exciting as any of the scarecrow books. A job well done and personally I've rather enjoyed all of the Scarecrow books thus far, being left only with the Army of Theifs to read now. Well done.

Dont Listen to the people saying its bad. ITS AMAZING. This is a very good short novel. And for all your ignorant people who said it was short, Matthew Reilly published this book and gave thousands of them out for FREE! and I have even seen them for 5 cents in the stores. It was a book just to show people what his writing was like. If you think it is short go read one of his other longer ones like Temple. I would recommend this book to any one that likes action books. But if you want more bang for your buck then you might want to by one of his longer ones. Like Contest his first book that he paid for himself to get the first thousand copies made. So don't listen to these ignorant people bagging this short book. It's meant to be short. And it's filled with entertaining action, even if its not realistic its just meant to be entertaining. If you want to read an accurate military action book then go read Tom Clancy. Matthew Reilly is an amazing author and I have read all of his books.

Get this book. Matt Reilly's books are better than any movie you have seen. I was one of those blokes who would have never read a book. Got so bored at work that one of the fellas gave me Ice Station. And I was hooked. Read the series and then all the other book Get this book. This book is one of a series. Ice Station - Area 7 - Scarecrow - Hell Island - Army Of Thieves.

96 pages. Look, entertaining enough..fast paced and unrelenting, but wish I'd known it was only 96 pages long. Feeling a little gypped.

DJB084. This was the first of Matthew Reilly's books I have read. I have to say I'm normally a non-fiction reader and this is probably the reason. I read the book from cover to cover in about 4 hours and although the author comes highly recommended I can only hope his other books have a better story line. He kept trying to build the suspense in the book but it was just to unbelievable and it felt like he kept losing his thought process. I understand that fiction is ment to be not actual but come on.... I recommend this book for someone between the ages of 10-15 years old, with no understanding of how the military actually works. Thanks anyway.
