Excellent book on historic time for America. A must read for anyone studying the history and rationale for Americas response to 9/11 and the necessity for a clear well thought out plan to continue opposing terrorism in all its forms.

In My Time. Truthful but pain full account of the attack on America. Dick Cheney is an honorable patriot. The Truth is hard for some who really have never understood what makes America Great. History will show how Great the Bush Cheney years were. Remember when we did not apologize for being Americans. If you have courage to know the truth then buy the book.

Thoughtful and full of grace. I was pleasantly surprised when reading Vice President Dick Cheney's book, In My Time, to encounter such a thoughtful discourse that exuded the grace of a man often vilified in the press. It is an easy read though surely a good reference for future historians. I would recommend it for anyone, especially our young folks who might be motivated by a life well lived in the public service sector.

Incredible Book By An Incredible Man. Thank you, Mr. Vice President, for your service and sharing the details and your stark opinions regarding them in this book. Many Americans are grateful for your time, devotion and energy to help pass our wonderful country onto the next generation the way you did. Superb job, Sir!

In My Time. I am not much a fan of memoirs but this book and earlier this year the memoir written by President Bush has changed me. Those who should read this book won't. It will open their eyes to what really happened in Washington since 1968 and in particular during the Bush-Cheney era. It is unfortunate that the real gratitude of the American people for Presidents Bush and Chaney will not be felt until they are gone and are part of history. I fought in Viet Nam, I was stationed in Korea for 39 months and five years in Berlin (behind the wall). I can assure all readers that what Vice-President Cheney has detailed here is the absolute truth and is un-varnished. There will be many who will not be pleased with his telling of the facts but this is the 21st century. We strive for and, deserve the truth. I am not able to speak to the Vice-President (although I do visit Wyoming on a yearly basis) but as one of his generation, it would be the pinnacle of my life to be able to sit down with him over coffee at the foot of the Grand Tetons. God bless you Mr. Vice-President. As stated by so many, "You will do to ride the border!"

A true Patriot. For all of those folks who wrote negative comments and can only surmise you didn't read the book. Dick Cheney was a hard working honest man From his upbringing of his fathers financial hardships to his devotion to his family. He was a brilliant man,a tireless worker who read ALL of his daily briefings. It started to fall apart when Colin Powell started speaking out against the president while still one of his top aides. Connie Rice being duped by the North Koreans that they www not creating a nuclear bomb dick Cheny is a brilliant man. He honors our military something Obama does not. It's a fantastic book about a fantastic man. Buy this book it will provide for you what was really going on and not what the liberal media printed thank you Mr. Vice President for your service

True Leadership. Dick Chaney's book is refreshing and quite a contrast from the current lack of vision and leadership in the white house today. He is an American hero who loves this country and our american values. It's a great read and I highly recommend it.

A great historial autobiography. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Though I don't always agree, Dick did what he thought was best for the Country. I couldn't put it down. I love history and he tells the recent events very well through the eyes of one that was there and involved.

In My Time. This book is very informative and enlightening. I wish we had more politicians (democrats and republicans) like Mr. Cheney. By the way, Obama campaigned hard and spent tens of millions of dollars to "inherit" his office. Poor baby!

Inspiring and informative. I truly found this book to be an inspiring and informative read. I have always believed that the current role the press plays in our current world is debilitating to the functioning of our American Government. Vice president Cheney and his wife have made a courageous effort to explain much of what gets misconstrued by the media. I am a firm believer that we are doing ourselves an injustice in allowing the free press so much overwhelming political power. Of course, the word "free" is hard to control. We need more men like Dick Cheney in our government who are strong enough and intelligent enough to surround themselves with the best to make the often difficult and unpopular choices real leaders must make to keep our country free. Now it seems that the media concentrates so much on the gossip surrounding candidates we are left electing the least experienced but least controversial candidate instead of the right person for the job. Thank you to the entire Cheney family for bringing pride back to self responsibility and hard word. Thank you for your sacrifices and service to our country. Thank you to your whole family.
