Excellent and believable!. Daniel Suarez has a knack for weaving a story in such a way that it is suspenseful and completely realistic. The science is understandable and his writing is so detailed you feel like you are there with the characters. I cannot wait to see what he writes next.

Great action thriller. Good characters, strong women, inventive, action packed drama. But there were loose ends left at the end.

Pretty good book. Pretty good book, definitely didn't grab me as much as Daemon or Freedom, but after I got into it it was hard to put down!

Perfect for geeks and tinkerers. Entertaining read which a few nice 'but what if' scenarios around advanced computing, robotics and warfare. Read it next to a pool in Spain which was exactly the right atmosphere: not too complicated but still tickled my brain and imagination a bit.

Extremely timely. As we continue into the second decade of the "war on terror" this book is a very timely look at what our near future could be like in terms of the changing nature of combat. This is the story that has been missing to explain the rise of the machine from slave to master that is the premise of the Terminator and Galactica franchises. Like Daemon and Freedom Saurez links the US corporate addiction to defence contracting and the fear of the unseen enemy within and without to weave a very plausible and scary scenario. Like his previous books the technical detail is fantastic and well researched. The premise that satellite bandwidth could be the driving force behind taking the kill decision away from human operators is fascinating and sets up an ethical vs practical dilemma for those looking for a viable defence against nationless combatants. I can't wait for his next book.

Cancel your plans. As with his previous two books, once I picked up Kill Decision, I had to set an alarm just to remember to feed myself. Suarez's penchant for educating the reader on real technology that we never give a second thought to, plus breakneck pace made it impossible for me to put down. Loved it.
