Good book. Not my favorite book but definitely a good one. One complaint I have is its too predictable.

This book has stayed with me.. “Just breathe,” my mom would say. “Ten tiny breathes… Seize them. Feel them. Love them.” It’s been a long time since a book has dragged me in and I read it in a day. This book was one of them. It was an intense, touching, and a heart breaking read. I am still awed by it. The story follows Kacey whose life is turned upside down by a fatal car accident involving her family, friend and boyfriend. After four years with her Aunt and drunk pervert uncle, she leaves Michigan with her sister Olivia for a new life in Florida. They move into a small apartment building. This is where they meet their neighbor’s Storm, a bartender/exotic dancer with a heart of gold, and Storm’s daughter Mia. Kacey also meets her neighbor, the oh so sexy Trent. He tries to help Kacey cope with her tragic past, and to move on from it. He is very hard for Kacey to resist, but he too has his own past full of secrets. The sexual tension between the two of them is perfect. Their chemistry is palpable. The twist was perfect, and the ending brought me to tears. The characters are unforgettable and I think this story will stay with me for a long time.

IF YOU'RE A TEENAGER.... ....or in your 20's (early) you might savor this book. From early on, after the sample of course) it's filled with page after page after page with "unfulfilled sexual desire and heaving bosoms". Finally had enough at mid book to stop reading - after skipping over whole chapters. I'll delete it now.😡

First Timer (Romance Novel). First time reading a romance novel... Good and easy read. Couldn't put it down.

Absorbing. Survival of the fittest. I cried and laughed. I cannot wait for the next book. What a powerful story.

Ten tiny breaths. I'm an avid reader and only very few books ever make it to my best reads list. I have a strict 5 top books policy. But, I can honestly say that ten tiny breaths broke the scale. This book will reach out and touch your heart in ways only this book can. It's such an enjoyable book I just had to finish it in one-sitting. And just when you think paradise is established the gobsmacking heart stopping twist will make your head spin so that you have to take ten tiny breaths.

Ten tiny breaths. I loved it! Plain and simple...I laughed, I cried...its beautiful...didnt want it to end...

Move over Nicholas Sparks. Snappy dialogue, interesting and developed characters, with a deeply moving plot line, make this a read that runs the gamut of emotions. Move over Nicholas Sparks. Hope to see this on the big screen.

5 coping stars for a magnificent journey about loss, love, and healing. Written in Kacey's POV. The story begins with Kacey having guardianship over her fifteen year old sister Olivia. The stories broken into stages representing Kacey's growth after the death of her parents and physical rehabilitation process. Nine stages to be exact. Kacey works as a barista at a coffee shop. Kacey spends her time off at the gym. Kacey meets her neighbor Trent and her neighbor Storm. Storm gets Kacey a job as a bartender. Kacey is meeting many new people and having to interact with people on a level that makes her uncomfortable. Trent is a mystery that I'm eager to unlock. The metaphor for drowning and ten tiny breaths continues to be a mystery. Trent's got a story to tell I can sense it. Trent's persistence at trying to get Kacey help by going to therapy leads me to believe something big is brewing. The journey was heartfelt. The writing brilliant. The characters relatable. It's a story that resonates long after the last word is read. One thing to remember and consider while reading is there is always two sides to a story.

A brilliant must read series!. 10:25 pm last night I fist pumped the air as my prediction was confirmed and immediately I thought I should get up and fb A friend, but instead I finished the book. I wasn't mad that I picked up on that foreshadowing of three tiny words because I do it often but the darn if some of the closing scenes weren't hard toward the end. The ending comment was a bit rushed for me, and comments about dealing with the characters' pasts but the focus wasn't the fixing but the journey getting there to be open to deal with the past. Wow i loved her little quips and descriptions. "Tangled, sobbing sardines," etc. I thought she did a great job in character appropriate one liners to describe the world and their experiences around them. Can't believe I haven't read this series yet. Shame on me!

5 STARS. This novel was written so well, the characters you fall in love with...to the remarkable story line. Most of all, even when you think there's no hope, I'm glad everything worked out. I'm so glad I read this and I think you will too!

Great book!. The book was very incite full. In my past a drunk driver hit me and my family everyone was unharmed and I am forever great full for that however; if something worse were to have happened it would have been tragic to have to cope and deal with the circumstances for the rest of my life. Very thankful my family and I walked away from it.

Unreal. I know everyone always says this but this is hands down one of the best books I've ever read. Completely did not see the plot twist coming. I cried so much more than I thought I would. Happy tears and sad tears. This book is about tragedy, struggle, love, forgiveness, healing and so much more. I couldn't put it down. Finished it in less than a day. I promise you it's so worth every penny and every second.

Wow. I really enjoyed this book and was super excited to see there is another book to go with it! The characters were sweet, funny, tough, and everything in between. The book dealt with the tragedy of drunk driving, which is a heart wrenching subject. The author did well! I will definitely read the next book, and look into other books she has written.

Expect unexpected. “I don’t hate him. I can’t. I loved him. If I’m honest with myself, I may still love him. I don’t even care that he basically stalked me. I don’t know why I don’t but I know that I don’t.” At first I had mixed feelings about this book but the more I read, the more I started to liking it. It was definitely different from what I read before. Kacey and Livie had perfect sister bond. Starting their new life in Miami and with big help from Storm, Mia and Trent, they both saw a light in the tunnel to make everything better. Kacey just like Trent was mysterious to me. Kacey with her holding hands thing with other people and Trent with his living/past situation. Both had hart time sharing informations about themselves but at the same time, they felt so comfortable in each other company. At some point, I had some suspicion about Trent but…..I did NOT expect to cry waterfalls at 2am 😭😭….and it wasn’t just once. It was really deep and raw - just like Trent’s confession.

Great book !!. It's a very interesting book and keeps you on the edge wanting to know what's going to happen next. I loved it I couldn't stop reading it. I recommend it !

The most beautiful book... First of all, to the author - you should be so proud of yourself. This is a touching, beautiful story that it so hard to put down, hence why I'm leaving this review at 20 to 2 in the morning after just finishing! This is such a sensitive subject, and you did it so beautifully- the story speaks volumes, not only do you cover loss, but forgiveness aswell. And you did it in such a aka dropping way. There isn't enough stars for me to rate this book!

An alright read. I like the concept of this story but I felt there were a lot of holes in the plot and so many red flags with Trent that it was really a little ridiculous she didn’t clue in to him. And Kacey was very naïve and completely clueless to the grief of others. She totally lacked empathy until it was pointed out to her others were suffering too

Love them” Ten Tiny Breaths took my breath away, it lead me to falling in love with K.A Tucker’s writing so much so I've read this book twice. I was captivated from the the Prologue, “Just Breathe” I have the words tattooed on my wrist as a reminder. This story is about family, love, loss, fear, forgiveness and coping, it will pull so hard on your heartstrings you are on edge waiting for the final string to snap. Tucker delivers a gut wrenching story of a girl surviving in life. One night changed Kacey’s life, gone is the girl so full of life and replaced with a shell of a girl who is haunted by that tragic night. Lacey is closed off, has nightmares, she has debilitating fears and has so much built up anger. She's barely keeping her head above water, her younger sister Livie, is the reason she's hanging on, trying to give her a good life a life she deserves. Livie is a tower of strength for her older sister, she is honest, mature and pure, she is the light Kacey needs. Moving to Miami and starting fresh is what the girls need, Kacey isn't the most friendliest person but for Livie she is going to try when it comes to meeting their new neighbours, Storm and Mia.
