Loved Roman & Elise!. I love Roman & Elise’s story. This was such a good book. Can’t wait for the next one!

🥵 5 stars are not enough !!. Risking Forever is one of the best nanny/single dad romances I’ve read. It’s got spice, and humor, but it’s also emotional with found family, and character growth. I love the diversity A. M. Kusi novels have with interracial couples, different body types, a deaf heroine and a non verbal daughter (who is the cutest btw). This small town romance is more than just a love story, it’s about risking the pain we know comes from eventual loss for the love of a lifetime. The struggles the characters faced were real and I love how strong of a FMC Elise was and how she was respectful of Roman but also stood up for herself. This book made me feel all the feels with a dirty talking MMC to boot (that maple sugar shack scene 🥵) Highly recommend—even if you haven’t read book 1.

CRYING. A heartfelt, gripping small town romance with some mystery sprinkled into that steamy mix AND it’s FatherxNanny with disability rep!!! Roman is a single father to a mute daughter, who is trying to find his late wife’s murderer, while also fighting an inner battle of immense guilt and anger, while also trying to be a good father. Elise is a woman trying to start anew, her last relationship was abusive and she needs that fresh start in somewhere like Shattered Cove. Even though Elise didn’t expect anything out of this new gig (live in nanny) she couldn’t deny the attraction to her hot and cold boss, Roman Emerson. This book hits you right in your heart and the rep that A.M Kusi are always implementing into their beautiful and gut wrenching stories are always so spot on and you can tell that they do their research!!! This one is my favorite out of the siblings, especially when it had the cool crossover with the peeps of Shattered Cove!!
