From Graham Nash—the legendary musician and founding member of the iconic bands Crosby, Stills & Nash and The Hollies—comes a candid and riveting autobiography that belongs on the reading list of every classic rock fan.

Graham Nash's songs defined a generation and helped shape the history of rock and roll—he’s written over 200 songs, including such classic hits as "Carrie Anne," “On A Carousel,” "Simple Man," "Our House," “Marrakesh Express,” and "Teach Your Children." From the opening salvos of the British Rock Revolution to the last shudders of Woodstock, he has rocked and rolled wherever music mattered. Now Graham is ready to tell his story: his lower-class childhood in post-war England, his early days in the British Invasion group The Hollies; becoming the lover and muse of Joni Mitchell during the halcyon years, when both produced their most introspective and important work; meeting Stephen Stills and David Crosby and reaching superstardom with Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young; and his enduring career as a solo musician and political activist.  Nash has valuable insights into a world and time many think they know from the outside but few have experienced at its epicenter, and equally wonderful anecdotes about the people around him: the Beatles, the Stones, Hendrix, Cass Elliot, Dylan, and other rock luminaries. From London to Laurel Canyon and beyond, Wild Tales is a revealing look back at an extraordinary life—with all the highs and the lows; the love, the sex, and the jealousy; the politics; the drugs; the insanity—and the sanity—of a magical era of music.

Wild Tales. If your a fan it's must read :could not put the book down...More,More Encore

Wild Tales. Absolutely LOVED this book...really helped me fill in the gaps interns of my understanding of the dynamics of C, S, N&Y. I could really hear Graham's voice in his words. This digitized version was pretty sloppily formatted, though. Couple examples: last pages of Chapter 12 repeated themselves, and I never got to read the end of it. And...the link to "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes" plays "Wooden Ships" instead!

WILD TALES - Very interesting, conversational tone. I am enjoying reading this book very much. It’s not “reading” per se, as much as listening to Graham Nash sit down with me to share a beer and tell me his life’s story, one on one. Very easy reading. For anyone who has lived through this period, boomers especially, you’ll enjoy this. Having audio and video included in this “e-book” is a real bonus. It’s what all e-books should aim for, but in this autobiography by such a famous musician, it’s wonderful! BUG REPORT: On page 350, the song listed is “Suite Judy Blue Eyes”. But the actual audio cut there is instead “Wooden Ships”. This needs to be corrected.

Graham Nash Autobiography A Revealing Tale. Graham Nash formerly of the Hollies and to this day performing with Crosby, Stills Nash & Young has written a wonderful story in his autobiography aptly entitled "Wild Tales." (There are many). Nash reveals himself in a very personal way throughout this well written book. The stories, history and great music are woven together into a beautifully diverse tapestry of bright colors and dark themes as well. He gives a sense of where so many of his great sounds came from and the moments and events that inspired them. There is no better way to fully experience this interesting story than through the electronic format of this book that includes magnificent audio clips of the timeless music of Graham Nash and CSNY that you can absorb as Nash let's you behind the music and into his heart and soul. With Graham Nash...it's all about the music from beginning to end...with real life peaking its way through to merely inspire the music and art that feed his ambition. You will not be disappointed by investing your time in reading this very special story.

Great read. Very interesting book, including many details about life as a rock star. I enjoyed it immensely as I have enjoyed many years of CSNY music, shows, and the like. I never cared for the political undertones which too often become over the top and off putting. Graham talks about people leaving their shows, and suggests the majority stayed, seemingly as if to say the majority agree with his political views. I see it differently. The majority stayed to hear what they paid for...anyway, that was the only part of the book I didn't care for. I understand using your fame to try to make a difference, but sometimes famous people stand on the wrong side of righteousness, just like us normal folks.

A real nice surprise!. Graham Nash has written a warm, funny and insightful review of the long association he has had with his 3 band mates and the other very talented souls he has had the honor of knowing and making music with. Reading this book was very entertaining and provided a tremendous degree of insight into the life and times of CSNY during the long arc of their careers. I especially enjoyed the included music and videos. Well done Willy!

Wild Tales. Wow! Eye opening read about a group I started listening to when I was 10. That is 46 years ago. Since Graham and I share the same date of birth, it is unbelievable the resolve that he has for Steven and David. That is one strong bond. I would have baled a long time ago.

Wild Tales. Really enjoyed the book. Wonderful insight into a great career and his life and times, especially the Hollies and CSNY! Was VERY disappointed that the promised video and audio was NOT included (I use latest IOS and iBooks version so should work!).

A fun, easy read. Graham's path meandered straight through the heart of Rock 'n Roll. He takes you along as easily as can be done through writing, giving you a taste and making you wish you could somehow have been there. It's honest and heartfelt. You can feel the joy and the anguish through his words. He's lead a pretty interesting life and it's nice to see that he's managed it pretty well and is appreciative of all the great things that have come his way.

good book, but audio and video clops don't work!?. I loved reading the book on my iPad, but was very disappointed that the promised audio and video clips do not work, even though I have the latest iPad and software.

Should have been called Coat Tales. Because if he didn't get together with Croz and Stills, no one would remember him. He wrote a couple good songs but his percentage for good songs in his catalogue must be 3%. He's basically a background singer that views his contribution as vital. I didn't realize how many meaningless, unimportant and massive amount of boring songs he wrote until he drones on about them. I was very interested in his stories about Neil Young, Stills and Croz. I could go on and on about this book but Nash has taken care of that for me.

Delightful. The book has a "sound" as though Graham Nash is telling you his story. So personal. So direct. It really has been a Wild Tale and he shares it with us all. Loved the inclusion of audio. So multimedia. Bless him and all that lies ahead - for us all!! Read it!

Wild Tales. I saw Graham Nash interviewed in Seattle on 11/22/2013. He said that he had received permission 3 weeks earlier to include a live recording of himself and the Everly Brothers singing "So Sad (To Watch Good Love Go Bad)" in the e-book edition of Wild Tales. Does anyone know--is the song now included in the e-book from iTunes?

Wild Tales. Great story, well told. Note: the description said videos and music are included in this ebook - where is it and how do I check it out?

video and audio. For those of you who couldn't find the video and audio to to Table of contents and : List of enhancements will allow you to access the audio and video items you are looking for. The book is great

Superb Autobiography. Here's one of the greatest stories ever told, right from the man who's living it! Honest, deep, insightful and inspiring. This book reads like a Graham Nash song. It's right from the heart and crystal clear. I took my wife to see CSN in Toledo in 2012. Each one of those guys is an institution of talent and beautiful music, and they were amazing. We left the show knowing we can rock right into our 70's. Graham Nash is one of the coolest human beings on the planet and he's still making the planet a better place. Thank you Graham!

Another heartfelt Nash Edition. Wild Tales captures Nash's life experience with honesty and clarity. The book's 3-star meandering focus and puppy-dog tone are balanced by the 5-star sincerity, heart and musical and social impact he's maintained over the course of his rich and wild life. I defy any reader not to love this guy by the conclusion of the book, which is a page-turner in the best sense.

Wild Tales and Big Brags. I loved this book every thing in Grahms life seemed to flow as if it were a design and meant to be. It was really intresting to learn about how lyrics for quite a few songs have come about. The refined versions of real life experiences. It was great to learn about the history of some of my lifes heroes. I respected the credits that were given to everyone who helped shape Grahms incredible career, and life. I was surprised to see Bonnie Riatt not acknowledged till the end, especially with his connection with Tom Campbell and the Guacamole Fund. At times i was ready to stop reading as if got to a point that seemed like Grahm was bragging about how great he has it. Or was it that to read about his life I had to look at my own as well," a lifetime of volunteering to be victomized in work and relationships.Reaching instances in my life that bordered being homeless. And finding myself living with the most incredible woman who has saved me both emotionally and physically." I also have the universal spirit to thank for that.

Excellent read for the music lover..... An outstanding read for lovers of music, the Hollies and Crosby, Stills, Nash..... and Young....

Graham Nash Wild Tales. If your a csny fan like I am graham Nash tells an incredible story of the rock icons that we boomers grew up with. I highly recommend this book. It's also loaded with great music! From milbilly1
