good but... I almost didn’t finish because of Skylar. God she’s annoying and quite selfish too. Mitch however is the best guy in the world! His love is truly admirable!

So perfect!!!. What a perfect story! Couldn't ask for more! It had laughter, love, heartbreak, lust, more love and more headache but at the end it was just perfect forever love! I loved Mitch and Skyler!

Why did I wait so long to read this.. I have read ALL of Penelope's books and while reading other reviews etc, people said this was by far their favorite. Now I know why. This had some humor yet tugged at your heartstrings and made it so incredibly hard to put this book down. Mitch and Skylar have the kid of love that everyone should have and never let go! Mitch has officially become the book boyfriend that all others have to compete with now. I will now be buying the paperback version for my favorites bookshelf.

Unbelievable!. Unbelievable! This story was so touching and heart wrenching. I wanted to scream, cry and laugh all at the same time. I can't even articulate how wonderful the storytelling was in Skylar and Mitch's story. No lie, I wanted to throw my ereader more than a few times. Such a great story.

Will touch your heart. So loved the characters in this book. Penelope Ward knows how to get to the heart of people and situations without being sappy. Mitch will break your heart!

Amazing. Loved this book, the ups and the downs. Had me laughing and crying. Couldn't put it down.

Loved it...but then.... I really like this author, I enjoy her other books, but I felt the need to comment on this one as it's very misleading. I was hooked from the beginning, great start and great characters, great story to be told, very real and easy to connect to...BUT the fact that the summary makes you believe Mitch did this huge horrendous act of betrayal or cruelty to Skylar is not what I picked up on. If anything, I fault Skylar. Mitch is there for Skylar through her illness and through thin and thin, but when he tries to move on he can't really, even after Skylar orchestrated a fake date that she knew would get back to him, he still loves her, but when he needs her after finding out about Henry, she can't handle it and abandons him. I don't get that. I'm sure it would be hard to watch him go through everything with Charisma, but he wouldn't even have had to if she didn't break up with him in the first place. I'm trying hard not to spoil or reveal too much, but I had to say this because I enjoyed the book yes, but I didn't get why he had to prove he wouldn't hurt HER again when he did nothing but be there for her and show her how much he loved her. I get it makes a good story, but the spell the book had over me broke when this part occured because it just didn't make sense. Of course, people can suggest otherwise, but that's how I felt and had to say my two cents. Still love the author, really love 'Stepbrother Dearest' but this one just is a love/hate feeling.
