Had promises but fell flat. Had promises but it failed in the end. Not enough dialogue between characters, not enough back story, not enough completion of thoughts. Figured and expected more from book description. Not really interested in continuing the series if first book wasn’t good.

Hot and Steamy. Sir Loin of Beef was a fast paced story with a touch of drama, two really hot dirty talking cowboys and one luscious librarian and a whole lot of heat. This is a great start to a new series from the ever so talented Vanessa Vale, it has a hot hot ménage that will have you fanning your self through the whole book. There is a moment when the story will tug on your heartstrings and will keep you turning the pages just to see what will happen next. Kaitlyn is out with her friends at a local bar when she sees the two most gorgeous men in her life and is then surprised when said men pull her in for a extremely hot and dirty make out session. But then they introduced them selves Jed Cassidy and Landon Duke this is where the story takes a bit of a turn. There are some ups and downs that keep you wanting more. I absolutely loved and recommend this great story and can’t wait for more. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

I’M HOOKED ON BEEF!!. Sir Loin of Beef is book one in Ms. Vale’s new Grade A Beefcakes Series. This book is centered around the Duke family of Montana. For me, this book hits all the points of an erotic, western romance. I love Ms. Vale’s series because, she always has a way of introducing new characters and bringing back old characters, with always a new plot tied into, and mixed in and carried on from an old plot. I also love the play on names from the titles of each book in the series that’s tied to what I call the main hero’s nickname. Ms. Vale has a way of giving rough and tough cowboys humor mixed with sexiness. I eally love a book that has he hero’s point of view as well as the heroine’s because, it gives the hero as strong a presence has the heroine’s and somehow, Ms. Vale really con pull this off. Kaitlyn Leary was the only child of the Dukes’ dead nemesis. She’s beautiful, smart and shy. I like Kaitlyn right off because, she didn’t play games, she wanted Landon and Jeb. She was attracted to them, and she let the bulls fall were they may. Landon Duke, ex rodeo champion turned construction company owner was tired of the “buckle bunnies’ of the rodeo circuit. He was ready to settle down with “the one” for him and hs best friend, Jeb. Landon or Duke, or Sir Loin of Beef as they call him is a tomboy through and through. He’s a bit of a hot head, but he gets his woman. The cute thing that I noticed about Landon is that every time he took a cool drink of something other than water, it was always soda. Jeb Cassidy enjoyed his time working the rodeo circuit, buy owning “Cassidy’s” bar and grill was his choice along with settling down and having a family. Jeb is a dirty talking, sexy mountain of muscle and, Jeb does have a strong presence. I rated this book five stars out of five. Ms.. Vale makes me want to go back and look at all the old cowboy movies I use to watch. She makes cowboys look good.

Loved the book. Landon (Duke) and Jed have finally found the One, Kaitlyn, but unfortunately Landon has created a bad situation with her after learning her drunk father is the one who almost killed his parents. He said a lot of things out of hurt and anger and later came to regret his words. He had to try to get her to forgive him so that they can all be together. The sexual tension between the three of them is overwhelming and their interaction is very erotic. The book is well written and a great read. I would highly recommend this book and this appears to be the start of another great series. Love the book cover.

Sweet. I loved it from beginning to end!! Landon Duke (Sir Loin of Beef) has been told by his father at a young age that when you meet “The One” you’ll know. Jed Cassidy is Duke’s best friend since childhood was always around so the Duke’s took him in. They both knew at a young age that they wanted to share women. Kaitlyn Leary has unpleasant history with the Duke’s. She moved away at 10 and has come back to Raines after 15 years as the librarian. This book went from 0 to 100 and stayed there to the end. Duke and Jed took one look at Kaitlyn and knew she was there’s. It heated up from there and didn’t let up!! Phew!!! First book by Vanessa Vale and it won’t be my last. Can’t wait to read book 2

Ok... I Guess. Bit of an insta-love story but it was... good. I was hoping for something a bit longer too, to see the relationships develop and the stalker get a slightly more satisfying comeuppance. But this was ok... I guess.

Hot Beef 🔥. I loved that Landon and Jed was told that they would find the “One” that one woman that would change their world on sight and this is pretty much what you get with this story but with a Vanessa twist.. Kaitlyn is the “One” and she is attracted to both Landon and Jed but her family has a history with Landon’s and when they find out she’s afraid of the fall out it will bring but you’ll have to read it more to find out.. Totally loved this story and def looking forward to reading the next installment of the Duke Saga
