Disappointing. I was very disappointed in the third installment of this series. It was boring and felt as if the author didn’t put much effort into the story line. I’m a huge fan of the first two books and waited over a year for this book. It could have been way better.

Amazing!. This is an amazing book, just amazing!

Good, but predictable. I enjoyed the story and the ending, but much of the story was predictable. I also felt in areas it rambled on a bit to fill pages, instead of advance the story.

Just not it sis. I was really into the first two books but when this came out it felt rushed and underdeveloped. The characters got even harder to like and all the explanations of why the things that happened in the last books happened were boring, predictable, and as I said, rushed. The end was suppose to be kind of this big finale but it was easy to predict, pretty random and quickly resolved. This book actually made me kind of dislike Jude and Cardan’s relationship. And every other relationship(like those of the sisters) was kind of a side thought and really didn’t do anything for me. Overall, it’s an okay book to pass the time but it’s really not worth spending more than five dollars. I really regret waisting my money on this book.

This can’t be the end!!. Oh my god this was so fabulous! What a great series! I do not want it to end!! Please Holly Black write more!!! This great world has many more stories in it waiting to be told!!

Loved It. This was the first series I read from start to finish in a long time and it didn’t fail. This was a great ending to the series.

This Series was so Good❣️❣️❣️. I wholeheartedly enjoyed reading all three books! A beautifully descriptive page-turning trilogy! I love Jude’s story, & I finished the entire series within a week.

Holly Black is Everything. It started slow, but you can look forward to an unpredictable plot (except for the very end but I’m glad it turned out the way it did) and Jude’s cleverness, which propelled the story to new heights. Characters are redeemed and relationships flourish. A solid trilogy. I will miss Faerieland!

Very good. You will not be disappointed with this ending. This series gave me wonder, grit, and heart . All of the characters are well told and you can’t help but feel magical while reading. Jude and Carden are the best power couple and I thank Holly Black for telling such an incredible story.❤️

Queen Jude. I really liked this series! I loved Jude’s journey and appreciated how strong she was. She went through a lot but she got through it all. I enjoyed how everything wrapped up. He sister finally stepped up and supported her (even though she really only reached out because she needed something from Jude but I guess…lol). Cardan finally played more of a role in the book which I enjoyed. I do wish we got Cardans POV. Jude was so negative about him that I started questioning why she liked him too lol I also wish Jude had actually fought her dad. Or at least have Grima Mog fight him. But overall this was a solid series. Maybe a little too overhyped IMO but still worth the read

Great series. Overall, a awesome series and an easy read. Jude is a complex character and very different from others I’ve read before. I found myself unable to put the books down. The last book was well thought out and the ending was worth the wait.

My fave book to reread. It doesn’t matter what is going on in my life, this book (and really this series—but especially this book) are guaranteed to make me feel excited, happy and just ready for more! I cannot express how perfect this book is to me and how wonderfully all of the loose ends from the other books in the series are tied up. These incredibly unique characters, this fantastical place and the story are my fave place to be.

Yes yes yessss. This book was amazing and in fact the whole series had me entrapped! I love the characters, they are built so well and stay true throughout the series! Jude and Cardan’s relationship was so heartwarming and fun to see it unfold. I think the only thing I would’ve liked to see more of, was of Jude’s connection to the land. We see it a couple times but I would’ve loved to see her use it more effectively and shown us her capabilities. Overall this book was amazing and I am truly sad to see it end.

This entire series was a blast!. I throughly enjoyed all three books. They were entertaining and a new twist on a fairytale I hadn’t yet experienced. The way the author writes and portrays character growth throughout the series is wonderful and my heart skips a beat even now, just thinking about the love story told here. Jude Duarte, is a fierce, strong, brave woman to behold and Holly Black is nothing less for being the one who imagined her.

Amazing. Most of the time in a series I stop after book 2 or half way through book 3 because they lost their umpf. BUT OMG. This series never did. There were so many plot twists, heart tugs, feel goods. If I could give this book 6 stars, I’d give it 20.

Best rebound for ACOTR. AMAZING . Literally such a good book to help with ACOTR hangover.

It was okay. The book went smoothly in the beginning like the other books in the series but towards the end it kinda got boring and repetitive to the point where I had to skip chapters to get to the point.

Great but…. This book was great but I feel like there was less of that tension and suspense/plot twists because it was the ending of a trilogy. The Wicked King had more of a shock factor, this one leaves you happy but did leave me feeling a bit unsatisfied (maybe from wanting to read more). For some reason, a happy ending doesn’t sit right with me for this series lol.

Love. Hands down one of my favorite books

Amazing!. A beautifully written look into the world of the fey and the delicate balance between the feys mischievous nature and the steel willed and loving characteristics of humanity. I imagine this is exactly what Faerie is like and this book series scratched an itch i have been reaching for for a very long time. If you love a strong femine role, a dark prince, an unassuming love story, a beautifully built world of magic and mountains to overcome, and folklore all raveled into one then this is the series for you.

Fell short of expectations. The first two books were great but this one just fell short. The plot seemed to drag on and I found myself forcing myself to read through. Really bummed because the first two books were amazing!

Don’t recommend /:. This would have been better with more spice🌶 and character descriptions, but also the character development was slow then suddenly very fast. The ending felt rushed. Don’t read anymore if you don’t want spoilers. 🛑 Since Jude has spent so many years aware of the tricks in riddles and vague language from faeries—she’s always quickly realized the scheme in different words/promises UNTIL the last part of this book. So it bothers me that she suddenly lost her intuition in regards to that. Again making the ending feel rushed. Overall I’m disappointed and probably won’t read anymore from this author.

Finished in two days!. I cannot explain how much I love this series. I have grown to love Jude and Cardan so much. Honestly wish I gave myself more time to read the finale but it was too great to put down.

I wasn’t yet ready to leave that world. A minute after reading it and it feels like I’ll never be ready to leave this world. All I can do is reread it and look at fan art and it was just so well made and my god I love Cardan and Jude

Couldn’t put it down. I have always been a big fan of Holly Black and this book is no different. I love how she really shows the duality of her characters and focuses on how complicated choices can be. Her deep understanding of dysfunctional families always amazes me. I read the entire thing in a day! Plus, always nice to have some cameos of other beloved characters.

Beautifully Immersive. I thought my days of loving fairy tales were long behind me at 75, but this series of books has totally restored my imagination. What a surprise to fall into such a fully-realized fantasy. I want to stay here forever.

You should really just read it. Holly just weaves magic, and I loved every bit of it.

I’m Pleased. I LOVE Carden. I love his story, the way he speaks, and his personality is so well constructed I started to feel like he was someone I knew. I tend to read books with strong female leads and this series had just that. I love Judes resilience and her strength. The whole series and plot was amazing I really enjoyed reading this one :)

I’ll toast to this series!. An incredible final book to end the series. After taking us through a wild journey filled with twists, turns, and brilliant page-turning adventures, Holly ends it with a well-deserved drink for the characters. I didn’t expect to fall in love with this series. Only took one week to read them all!

Not anymore…. you have priced yourself out of the market and so have hundreds of other popular authors. I had no choice to drop you this year. I have almost 2000 or more books on my pad, you calculate what I spend on authors and for my love for reading! You are an incredible author but @ $16.99 a book, I can find other wonderful authors who keep their prices below $10.00 who are just as good. I miss your work, but I will quit reading if authors and companies like Apple and Amazon continue to increase their prices. I know for a fact to sell an E-book is way cheaper for the Publisher/ Writer to market their products & make higher GP margins, than going to print. 2023-2024 the cost of living is rising everywhere and continues to inflate, reading is a luxury, people will drop luxury when money is tight! I would like to prompt readers to start fighting back to boycott inflated $ to companies like Apple and Amazon. EG : one author Sarah J Mass has quite a few books priced at $20.00 per volume. I couldn’t wait for the French version. Let me tell you one thing. I spend 2 days reading all the books. And I’ve never cried that much for a guy in my entire life. I’m soooo happy that he lived. I’m in love with Jude and Cardan. Gosh thank you Holly.

Awesome. I couldn’t stop reading this series and was sad to have it end. I will miss the characters with all the twists and turns.
