The Istanbul Puzzle.. Very entertaining read. Having visited Istanbul in 2010 it brought back many happy memories of the city. Hoping to go back in 2013 to renew acquaintance.
A real page turner. Brilliant!
Thoroughly enjoyable. I have just finished reading The Istanbul Puzzle and must say that I enjoyed it very much. It's one of those books that you just don't want to put down. I visited Istanbul last year and found it an amazing City and this book brought those memories back, the buildings, the atmosphere, the buzz, the sites, sounds and smells that this City of two continents fills you with. However, what I found as much fun and maybe this is because I'm a relative new convert to using iBooks is the way you can pop in and out of the book to visit the web to either look up a place you have never been to or refresh your memory about one that you have. It certainly helps you to visualise the settings of the characters. Plus and I'm not too proud to admit it; using the dictionary definition facility for those odd words, enhances the whole reading game. So, well done to Laurence O'Bryan for a great read and iBooks for making the whole reading experience so pleasurable.
Excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed this book. Looking forward to the next one.
The Istanbul Puzzle. A really great read. Had to finish in one go!!!
The Istanbul Puzzle. Excellent book, kept me entranced for two days - couldn't put it down. Thoroughly recommended.
The Istanbul Puzzle. This is a well crafted work of fiction sandwiched very much in reality. From the murder on the first few pages you are carried on a whitewater ride through Turkey, Iraq London, to name a places, into the depths of history. Sean Ryan is a man out of his depth and this is what I liked most about the book. His emotions and reactions are plausible. He is not an anti-hero nor the hero. He is a man struggling to come to terms with his own past but even more he's struggling to stay alive to see his future. I loved it. If you're a fan of the Bourne series or Dan Brown you'll eat this up. Garry
Poor and fractious. Wasted 6 hours reading this waiting for some cohesion to the plot or a clever twist to bring it all together ......... I've read some great free books and some average free books , this falls in the lower part of the latter unfortunately .
