Very good spin.. Hang on for the ride. Once all the characters are introduced, it's a wonderful rollercoaster of a ride. A "I have to keep reading" type of book. I look forward to reading John's other books.

Not the best, but not the worst.. I really enjoyed the sarcasm and word play throughout the book. I really did not like the writing style at all. I usually give a book several chapters before making my mind up, but I knew I really didn't care for it after the first chapter. It is a very easy read (I read it in one sitting) and despite the writing style, I decided to finish because I was curious as to how it would end. I found several points to be a very unrealistic and was overall disappointed with the plot. I don't think I will try anything else from this author. But hey, a free book is a free book.

I Usually Don't Do This !!!. What's crazy is I would've never found myself writing a review for anything, let alone a book, but this one right here Mr. John Locke !! Boy boy boy did I love this book, so much in fact, I recommended it to my sister the day I finished reading it !! It is very suspenseful and you think you know what's coming until the complete opposite happens. When I say this I mean it, I wish I could unread it just to read it again!! Great Read, Total Page Turner. Good book start to finish I love the plot of the story as well as all the guessing from start to finish just when you think you've figured it out you're in for another surprise.

SHOCKING!!!. If you like mysteries, THIS IS YOUR BOOK!! I couldn't put this down once I started reading it. I was literally reading this book behind the wheel of my car(although I don't advise that) because I couldn't wait to find out what would happen next. It ended perfectly. The entire book was great!!

Sherlock's twin sister. If you want this book transformed into some sort of show or movie, just watch BBC's Sherlock. It's literally the same thing, (but Sherlock is definitely better) I'd say this book was a knockoff.

The Writing:. I read the whole book in one setting, the plot was amazing. It's just I couldn't understand some parts with the poor structure of the authors writing. It's also a great possibility, the formatting from it being read on my iPhone could have played a part. Would read again for the plot. 5star plot.

Amazing !. I started reading this book in highschool of 2018 and was halfway through it then stopped but as an adult 3 1/2 years later picked it back up again and couldn’t put it down

Promise not to laugh. For a book about a teenage molestation case it was funny. Which was unexpected. The plot was okay. Writing was decent. Main character was likable for the most part. Most of the story plot in unbelievable.The book is good enough to pass time, but if you're looking for something with depth, definitely pass. What can you expect from free book though?

Promise You Won't Tell. Nothing I hate more than to see a novel wit potential, and it is ruined. I couldn't finish it, was so bad. The themes of homosexual sex, superficial get-rich quick, etc. were not very real-world in the solving of crimes, or the private detective business. This was a real disappointment.

Couldn't put it down. I read a lot of Mystery thriller novels, but I can't remember the last time I read a book from start to finish, with only bathroom breaks and a couple bottles of water.Really loved your witty conversational style and your character development. One of my favorite reads so far

Good start ending became confusing. As title really I got into it found it good but then it was like a confusing story it got hard to follow near end

Not for me!. The main storyline was clever and interesting with plenty of twists and turns. I didn't like the 'humour' though and would have preferred it written straight. For such a sensitive subject all characters were completely emotionless. Disliked the PI character dani and did not find her credible in the slightest. I'm sure many would enjoy but not for me!

Good. It was amazing... The starting dragged a bit but when in started to get to the point and actually explain some more... It all started making sence... Makes you realise anything can happen! The ending was very shocking because it took a major turning point but it was an amazing book and can't wait to read the rest<3

Great to start then gets boring & confusing. I wanted to read this book because it has great reviews but I have to say I was disappointed. The first couple of chapters made the book seem fun, funny & different & i really liked Ms Rippers attitude.. but as I was half way through the book I became bored. The ending for me was confusing & I was quite disappointed.

Genius writing.. I love a writer who can keep me on my toes and entertain me at the same time. Easy to follow but loved the challenges and twists. Happy me just downloaded some more of John Locke's work. ;-)

Entertaining and Fun. One of the best books I've read. The narrator was funny and made the book very entertaining. Would recommend mainly to teenagers but I'm sure others will love it too. Not quite what I was expecting but I'm glad. Was a bit confused at times but eventually understood. I didn't like the ending very much but the rest of the book made up for it.

SENSATIONAL! A must read. I rarely write reviews for books because their either just a good solid book or not interesting in the slightest. But this honestly was incredible, the amount of twists and turns is insane leaving you constantly trying to work out the conclusion. I really connected with the characters and they were all thoroughly discussed so there wasn't any phony motives etc. It doesn't take long to read which I like, there's no beating around the bush. It's incredibly written and really makes you think. Just take an hour out and read this, it's well worth it & it's free! How is it bloody free haha!

Interesting read..... Managed to read this book in a couple of hours but don let that make you think it's a book to avoid. I found it kept me second guessing and at points I thought the humour used in it was very good, if a little weird (at one point I said to myself it was the weirdest book I'd ever read but in a good way). If you're looking for something light to read then this is the book for you.
