Just freaking awesome. Read all 4 books in 5 days. Every page leaves you wanting more. I discovered my new favorite author last week and and I am very glad it was just after the 4th book came out or it would have driven me nuts. Lol. I also ordered these in print copy to go on the shelves. In my office.

Left me wanting more!. Best book I have read in a long time. I've never been into the whole I see dead people stories, however his book is different. Captured me from the first paragraph and kept me wanting more. On my way to read the next one.

My favorite series. I bought this book randomly and didn't expect much, but once I started I couldn't put it down. As soon as I finished, I had to run out and buy all of the books in the series. I have yet to find a character with Charley Davidson's shameless wit and spunk, which I think is perfect and endearing. Everyone needs to read this book (and the following ones as well)! How can anyone resist the combination of humor, suspense, action, and ROMANCE? I can't wait to add the eight book to my collection :)

Read this & "Reap" the benefits!. Who cannot appreciate a snarky, hysterically sarcastic, offbeat heroine, a well paced novel, and throw some black swirling smoke into the mix.....makes one want a "Bad" of their own! Can't wait for the next one!

Phenomenal!!. I actually came across book 9 of this series first...while reading the reviews I found out it was a series of books and decided to start with book one and I was not disappointed!! While I have only read the first book I can't wait to sink my teeth into the rest!! Absolutely fantastic writing and excellent story line.

Laugh Outloud Sexy. I LOVE this book, can't wait to read the others. I laughed outloud and found myself blushing every time Reyes entered the room. Great page turner!!

Best Grim Reaper ever!. I could not help myself, I completely devoured this emotionally gripping, action packed adventure in one thrilling night of reading. Who needs sleep anyway, right! Charley is sexy, sassy and sarcastic (my three favorite S words) also has lots of inappropriate but marvelously funny thoughts. She was born with the job of being the Grim Reaper and has some interesting gifts that go along with it. She uses her talents as a PI helping solve her murders and with her advantage you think it would be easy, however it proves (specifically with this case) to be anything but easy. Looking forward to revisiting this magical and exciting world.

Humorous, Sexy, Harsh at Times. Think Stephanie Plum on paranormal hallucinogenics and then some. But tighter and more suspenseful. Great story unfolds (three, actually), right up until the very end. Will definitely be reading the next one.

It was “ok”.. I enjoyed the premise, the characters were fun, but it just didn’t make me “feel” enough for the characters to care what happens in the next book. I’ll probably read the second book in the series eventually, but it isn’t high on my TBR priority.

Very good book. I liked this book a lot. It had a good plot with a different twist on the grim reaper. Looking forward to the next installment in what looks like a really good series.

Amazing!!. If you are on the fence about getting this book, just get it. It's filled with action, humor, crime, and a little romance. I could barely put it down. I found myself laughing out loud! Excellent story. Can't wait to read the next one!!

Awesome books. I love the 1st & 2nd book just the same. I read them in 2 nights ( which is almost impossible in my house between my toddler and my husband, neither would leave me alone lol ) but reading Darynda's books I did it. I can't put them down. It's sexy, funny, sarcastic and you just want to read on and on and on. I also read her short story digital version. I can't hardly wait for the 3rd part!!!! :))) highly recommend all her books.

Great read. Picked this book out to try something different. Glad I did. Good mystery, some romance, and funny at times. I couldn't put it down.

LOL Good!. Bought this book after reading the free sample. Figured Icouldn't go too far wrong for an author who could both write a good story and make me laugh. This was definitely well worth the price! I would recommend this story to any reader looking for a bit of escapism, with a wonderful dose of off-beat humor. I will definitely read more books by this author. I'm heading to the bookstore now!!!

First grave on the right. Fun, sexy, original and worth reading. It was difficult to put the book down. I am looking forward to the next book in this series.
