Another book loved. What a terrific read. I'm a bit behind in the series as I found it a bit later than other reviewers, but that's a good thing, I don't have to wait for the next to be published, I can close one & move right to the next! I'm reading pretty fast though because I can't put them down. I carry my iPad for this reason alone... wait in a doctor's office? No problem! In line for takeout! No problem! To me it's just more time to read. This is a Netflix series waiting to happen, and when it does, I'll be the first viewer of Season one! Maybe the readers will have to contact them... with so much material out there I don't know how they find anything. This would be a great one. Congrats to the author. Well done.

Best Seller for sure. I had set my phone and iPad to let me know when Bubba was available. Smart me! As soon as I received it, I was reading it. I was only going to get started and finish it at a decent hour. I couldn't find a stopping place. So, here it is, 4:30 in the morning and I have finished it. Another winner. And dare I say, best so far. It is a must read for everyone. I have got to learn to pace my reading. Al Rennie is a great author, but only human. He says he is writing as fast as he can. Okay. This edition should put him firmly on the Best Seller list. It is story telling at its best. Five stars to a good, solid read. I feel like part of the Joe and Mia clan. It is fun to try to second guess every move or event. Thanks. And thanks to your editorial staff. Great job from them. Here's hoping your next book is sooner rather than later. Ellen (Bearknowledge)

I loved, loved, loved "Clearwater Bubba". I love all the Clearwater books by Al Rennie and this one was especially humorous (Rodney Wemble), heartbreaking (January Lesbitt), and intriguing (Anthony Runbolt). Each of their dilemmas kept me anticipating how Joe and the CHIPS team were going to resolve their predicaments. And Joe handling the Amber first date was the Joe you love in each and every book in the Clearwater series.

Classic Rennie. I bought and finished this book in one day as it was too good to put down. Every author seems to find their own style, and Rennie's is mystery with humor. One scene I'm in suspense, the next I'm laughing out loud at his antics. It always awes me that he can keep so many plot lines going in one book, yet they all get neatly resolved by the last page. I liked that this book had more Mia and the kids than the last one. Their familial interactions make Joe so much more real as a family man in contrast to his persona as a modern day Robin Hood, righting the wrongs of the world. Joe is someone I would really want as a friend, so I will keep reading!
