The Black Sheep. The Black Sheep by Patricia Ryan is a beguiling romance between two who are thrown together by fate. Both have grown up differently, but love draws them together.
Well-written even if the characters aren't as compelling as usual.. I've been a fan of Ms. Ryan's since I first read Silken Threads. I read many more of her books since then (mostly the historical romances - that's where she shines) and I have enjoyed them immensely. However, the characters in this book are less dimensional than usual to my mind. It was a decent read but I wasn't wowed.
Really enjoyed this. Gr at free read on iTunes. So glad I found it when I did. Really liked these characters. They were flawed but overcame so much together. I rarely cry in these types of books, yet that's exactly what I did--in a good way, of course.

Black sheep. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Great characters and a good story line. I look forward to reading more from Patricia.
The Blacksheep by Patricia Ryan. This book is about a house sitter who motivates her bosses son into swimming as he is physically challenged following an aeroplane crash . As with any romance book they do fall in love with some twists in the tale
Top read. Thoroughly enjoyable HEA Enough angst to make it believable. I agree with another reviewer though why the big age difference ? Ok in the 20's & 30's try 60's and 70's not quite so endearing......
Excessive dialogue. Written well, however, exceptionally slow and too much dialogue.
