Jules was trying to do the right thing, unfortunately wrong place, wrong time seemed to sum up her life, and her luck better. Unsure who to trust, her instincts keep telling her Sean will always be the heroic man who saved her life the night they first met. This done in one book is full of interesting characters, a rich community, and explores the challenges of standing up for what you believe in, and doing the right thing, in the more dangerous corners of our modern world. I was gifted with a copy of this book and chose to share my review.

He’ll save her if only he can find her. It was supposed to be a quick in and out. Sean was supposed to come to earth through the portal and check things out but when he hears a scream, he rides to the rescue only to find his mate. Before he can catch her though she is gone. Now fate has brought them back together. Great story with loveable characters. Sean is pretty much perfect, but it will take everything he has to find and protect his mate. Jules is determined to get rid of the bad guys, even though sometimes she is her own worst enemy but now she's on the run and Sean will have to step up to save her. Dragon shifter, crime fighting woman, fated mates and danger in this fast paced read that will keep you reading to the end.

Another Good One. Another fast-paced short story from Quirilixen. It has taken two years for Sean to see Jules again and he doesn’t intend to lose her again. Jules is too stubborn for her own good. I love that the dragon shifters find an earth family to “adopt” them and help them acclimate. Enjoyable story. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Entertaining. Audiobook review- Short listen but memorable. Action, attraction, running, and mating make for an interesting and entertaining story! I really like the two main characters and the story development - kept me engrossed. The narrator did a great job with providing unique voices for each character and appropriate tone inflections for each scene. An intriguing Earth bound Qurilixen tale. When palace guard Seanan is tasked with making sure the portal to Earth works he is supposed to step right back on Qurilixen. When he steps through though he hears a woman’s scream and the portal closes with him on Earth. And his adventure begins. In this story of an alien stuck on earth, Sean is a fish out of water, yet retains all of his protective, honorable, alpha growly ways. Stubborn independent women seem to be the go to mates for our Qurilixen males, and Jules is no exception. She gives Sean more than a run for his money. This nonstop thrill ride feels much bigger than it’s page count and is a great read. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Modern Day Fairytale. When Seanan traveled to Earth through a portal, it was supposed to be a quick trip. Upon arrival, he hears a woman scream and charges to the rescue, saving the woman and an off duty Boston cop and taking a couple of bullets for his trouble. But the woman and the cop are safe and he is rescued by the family of the officer, who saw him transform to a dragon and realize he will need help fitting in. Since he missed his portal ride home and has no idea how to get back to his planet, he starts learning about his new home and fits into the family of the cop he saved. He starts a career as a bounty hunter, using his super sense of smell to help him track down bail jumpers. All is going well, until the woman that he saves, crashes back into his life by trying to carjack him. She is running from trouble and stubbornly avoids his help. Great adventure. Sizzling romance. This was phenomenal!. Hunted by the Dragon is the fourth book in the Captured by a Dragon series by Michelle M. Pillow. I am a huge fan of the Dragon series and I am enjoying the prequel to the world before Galaxy Brides were around. Seanan aka Sean is one of the first dragon shifter to go through the portal connected to Earth. The plan for the chosen ones was to go through the portal and bring back a bride. It has been a long time since the portal was used so they did not know what to expect from Earth. But when the portal opened, Sean was immediately drawn to the woman being attacked and his dragon shifting abilities was witnessed by off duty policemen that arrived due to the attack. Sean was injured which caused him to be left behind because the portal closed. The woman that he rescued seemed to be what he wants. Jules thought that the feelings she harbored for Sean was just because he saved her and was just confused so she did not hesitate to run away from him. This was so different compared to the Dragon Series. This was drama, thrills, crime, and a heroine that is sort of a vigilante. She is not your typical girl. I absolutely loved this book! It was refreshing to read a dragon shifter in Earth, trying to assimilate the culture. There was a lot of running away and getting caught. A lot of heroic acts and sacrifices. Not as good as the others. Not as good as the others. A little shorter too I felt. Didn’t really bond with Jules. But it’s an ok addition to a favourite series of mine. Hoping the next one is better!

Hunted by the dragon. This book was tops. She was looking for her mate and he finds her but she is the one who put him there. What a plot twist. The characters were brilliant and storyline super. I couldn’t put book down. I cannot wait to dive back into the dragon world

A Dragon shifter trapped on Earth. This is another of Michelle’s Qurilixen World Novels and is the fourth in the Captured by a Dragon-Shifter series. Seanan takes on the mission to go through a portal to Earth to find brides for his world but things do not go as expected and he ends up injured and trapped on Earth. Two years later he meets Jules and is sure she is the one but can he convince her? Another great dragon shifter story from Michelle. She really know how to tell an exciting story and keep you coming back for more. If you love dragon shifters, as I do, then this is for you. From Portal to Life Saver. Seanan is a guard at the Royal Palace and goes through the portal when he lands he hears a woman screaming so he goes to help still in his dragon form. He not only saved Jules but also Brian Flaherty an off duty policeman. The father and sons decided since he had taken a bullet meant for Brian by taking him to a private doctor for help. They shortened his name to Sean helped set him up in a job and get a house. The next time he saw Jules after she came to thank him for saving her life was two years later and that time she hit him and stole his car. He got Brian to trace the car and went after her. He found out she was runaway from thugs. Sean helps her then she steals his money and runs. Sean get her to let him help. I’m not going to spoil the rest. Exciting Start to a Spin-off Series. Seanan crosses through the portal to earth, and gets shot almost immediately - tough way to start a mission. Jules is the one he rescues when he gets shot, but that instant connection takes two years to come to fruition. I loved fiercely Jules held onto to her independence, and how much of a spit-fire she is! And Sean, well, that hero business is just swoon-worthy. Just an overall great book.

Sweet Vigilante. The story continues! Having the portal open at different places at different times on earth presents an interesting situation. I was not expecting Sean to be thrust into harms way immediately upon arrival. I really enjoyed how the Flaherty family openly welcomed Sean and helped him adjust. The fun back-and-forth banter between Sean and the Flaherty men made me smile. For most of the story I was unsure what Jules was running away from. It felt like most of the details around her situation was explained later in the book. It was also satisfying to hear the couple make plans to go to Louisiana and look for the “dragon gator“.
